Registration will take place between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Congressional Registration Desk on the ballroom level of the hotel. Please bring any outstanding payment. 2. The attire (http://bit.ly/decapowerdress) for the opening session and workshops is business professional. The opening session room will be near capacity, and doors open at 6:30 p.m. Please arrive early and fill in all seats. 3. Please distribute the #UltimateDECAMember tracking cards in your registration materials. This is a great tool to help your DECA members plan their days. If DECA members attend 7 leadership/learning labs (or 6 and the competitive event experience) and visit 20 exhibitors (on Saturday), they are eligible to win an iPad mini as well as other great prizes. Turn them in to Conference Headquarters by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. 4. DECA members who preregistered to attend the Innovations and Entrepreneurship Conference will have a specific conference program and tracking card. The program will take place in the Renaissance East Ballroom. SATURDAY 1. In your registration materials are schedule cards for members who preregistered for the Competitive Event Experience (role-play). Please distribute these to your members. Because this activity will likely take the entire time of a learning lab, a variety of time slots are provided (if you have multiple attendees) to provide flexibility in case your members don’t want to miss a specific learning lab. Members should visit exhibitors with their remaining time. 2. The attire for DECA learning labs (workshops) is business professional. 3. Please stress the importance of professionalism to your DECA members. 4. DECA has a full lineup of advisor professional learning sessions. See page 45 of the program. 5. During your lunch break, participate in a fundraiser to benefit D.C. Central Kitchen and DECA’s scholarship fund. A variety of food trucks will be waiting on K Street, right outside the hotel, to help you find quick, convenient food options while supporting two great causes.

6.   Saturday evening’s DECA After Dark event is the DC Night Tour. In your registration materials are specific boarding tickets and time (6:45, 7:00, 7:15) for your members. Please report to the Grand Ballroom a few minutes prior to your boarding time to meet your group. DECA staff will escort your chapter to your bus, which will be the same bus for the evening. Please pack clothing appropriate for the weather forecast.

SUNDAY

1.   Luggage storage will be available in Congressional Hall.

2.   At the Congressional Registration Desk, pick up your take home packet, including certificates, judge evaluation forms from the Competitive Event Experience and the completed #UltimateDECAMember tracking cards.

3.   The attire for the closing session is jeans, conference DECA long-sleeve shirt and casual shoes.
