SECTION BThis section is based on social and language expression. It aims to test a pupil’s use of : Correct social expression with visual clues as a guide Appropriate vocabulary based on given situations Parts of speech based on visual and textual clues

Here is the recipe for Chicken Nuggets.

The ingredients are:

500g of minced chicken meat 100g of oats 100g of breadcrumbs

50g of corn flour 1 cube of chicken stock 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder

Some salt and cooking oil

The first thing to do is to mix the minced chicken meat, corn flour, chicken stock, salt and black pepper powder together in a bowl. After that, you shape the mixture into nuggets. Then, you roll the nuggets in the mixture of oats and bread crumbs.The next step, heat up two bowl of cooking oil in a wok. When the oil is hot, deep fry the chicken nuggets until they are golden brown. Serve the nuggets with salad, some chilli sauce and tomato sauce. Hope you will enjoy it.

Woman and son survive fifteen-metre plunge

Kota Kinabalu, Thurs – A woman and her son miraculously escaped serious injury when their car crashed through a wall and landed on another vehicle fifteen metres below in a freak accident in Telipok yesterday. The incident at the Putrajaya Park Apartment car park became the talk of the town.

The driver lost control of the car on the third floor before crashing through the wall.

The car then landed on an empty Perodua Viva on the ground floor. The victims were conscious when pulled out of the wreck and sustained only minor injuries in the incident. Both have been warded for observation at the Likas Hospital.

According to the driver’s mother, the victims were going out for an early lunch when the accident happened.

Tips On Answering Section B1. When transferring information from the

original text, you should be very careful with the spelling of words transferred, capital letters and punctuations. Some common spelling mistakes by pupils are Johor Bahru spelt wrongly as Johor Bharu, television spelt as televisyen, air-conditioned spelt as air conditioned ( without hypen).

2. You must make your choice and write it down clearly in the space provided.

3. You should be careful when constructing sentences. Avoid simple grammatical and spelling mistakes.
