P.S. these are names of the authors. Books in Sociology are known generally by their authors.Hence the
practice....for names of the books, you can go to any bookshop and ask for the book by mentioning the
author..it may happen that one author has authored more than one book...in that case, you refer to the
syllabus and choose the most relevant book/s.
For General Studies, here find mentioned the books that I referred
History: NCERT(old syllabus books for XI and XII)
Indias Struggle for Independence by Bipin Chandra
Geography: NCERT (XI and XII books, new syllabus books are also good).
I also referred Wizards Geography for GS
Polity: Indian Constitution by Laxmikanth,
Introduction to the Constitution of India by DD Basu (only if you want to)
Economy: Read NCERT books specially India Economic Development
Science and Technology: Read NCERT books (I did this)
Or You can rely on TMH Guide or Spectrum Guide.
