In response to the Ebola Epidemic in West Africa, The UPS Foundation committed $750,000 in fundingand in-kind support. UPS engaged with first response agencies, providing air, ocean and groundtransportation for vital relief shipments from the U.S. and Europe to West Africa.

UPS transported and consolidated the equipment, coordinated a dedicated air gateway at the Cologne Airport, with onsite warehousing and ground handling services provided at no charge to assist 41 NGOs responding to the Ebola epidemic resulting in cost savings.
UPS provided charter coordination for the CDC across Europe and West Africa to aid in the airlift of 70+ trucks.

center in Guinea.
Cologne Air Hub Using its Logistics Emergency Team partnership, The UPS Foundation
partnered with the Global Logistics Cluster to establish an Ebola
response cargo staging operation at the Cologne Bonn Airport in
Germany to address air transportation capacity needs.
