Draft Amendment No. 3In accordance with Division 4 Clause 22 of theEnvironmental Planning and Assessment Regulation2000, Upper Lachlan Shire Council gives public noticeof the exhibition of Upper Lachlan Development ControlPlan 2010 (DCP 2010) Draft Amendment No. 3.DCP 2010 Draft Amendment No. 3 applies to all landwithin the Upper Lachlan Shire local government area.At its meeting held on 15 March 2018, Council resolved(Minute No. 59/18) to amend DCP 2010, Section 8.2Rural Development – Subdivision.The proposed draft amendment to DCP 2010 to beexhibited relate to:• Introduction of appropriate planning controls toaddress subdivisions below the minimum lot size for thespecific purpose of agricultural / primary production.The Draft DCP 2010 Amendment No. 3 exhibition documents will be on display from Thursday, 12 July2018 to Friday, 17 August 2018 as follows:• Crookwell: Council’s Environment and PlanningDepartment, 44 Spring Street between 9.00am and4.00pm Monday to Friday.• Gunning: Council Administration Office, 123 YassStreet between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.• Taralga: Post Office/Community Centre, 29 OrchardStreet between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.• Council’s website: www.upperlachlan.nsw.gov.auAll interested persons are invited to inspect the exhibition documents and make written submissions tobe received by 4.00pm on Friday, 17 August 2018. Finance Officer (Crookwell)Applications are invited for the position of Finance Officerbased at Council’s Crookwell Office. This is a permanentposition, required to work 70 hours, 9 days per fortnight,with a salary offer of Grade 7 Step minimum, at $988.79per week. Candidates are required to have completed HSC or equivalent, an understanding of WHS principles anddemonstrated advanced administrative and clerical skills.Good customer service qualities and efficiencies, demonstrated cash handling, experience in AccountsPayable/Receivable and experience in a specialised consumption based accounts receivable system (preferablywater consumption billing) are also required. Applicantsmust also hold a current drivers licence Class C.
Part-time Library Assistant (Gunning)The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, customerfocussed and available to work 29.5 hours per fortnight atGunning Library, including one Saturday shift a fortnight.Some additional hours may also be required to relieveother staff at Crookwell and Gunning Libraries.This is a permanent part-time position, which reports to theManager of Library Services, commencing at Grade 3 StepMinimum $25.07 per hour, plus a 25% penalty rate forweekend work.
