Over the week there have been a few reports of theft around town. On Saturday we received a report of a chainsaw and a dozen beers that were taken from the A & P Showgrounds.

Overnight on Thursday a vehicle was broken into and personal belongings were taken - and overnight on Saturday an Elite tandem silver trailer with a crate, was stolen off the back of a vehicle. This is another timely reminder to remove all valuables from vehicles overnight and park when possible in well lit areas.

Police also attended a domestic incident on the weekend. Look out for your neighbours and take care of yourselves.

Three people were dealt with over the weekend for drink driving. If you are planning a night out or just a few drinks after work with

Police get a lot of calls relating to stock on the road. This week was particularly bad when a mob of sheep got out on to the road and four were hit and killed. This is a reminder to watch out for animals on the road and if entering properties remember to leave the gate how you found it.
