Online applications are invited from intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India having

up-to-date registration in Employment Exchange in the State of Assam for recruitment of the post of

Junior Accounts Assistant.

A. Number of Post: 1 (one).

B. Reservation: Unreserved

C. Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and minimum six

months of training in

computer proficiency with Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institution.

D. Pay Scale: Rs.14000.00 to 60500.00 plus Grade Pay of 7600.00 plus other allowances as

admissible under rules.

E. Age: The candidate should not be less than 18 years old and the upper age limit as on 01-

10-2020 is given below

General 40 years, OBC/MOBC 43 years, SC/ST(P)/ ST(H) -45 years and 50 years in

respect of Persons with Disabilities.

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the HSLC Admit

Card/ Certificate

issued by recognised Board/ Council. No other documents shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the

purpose.

F. Examination Fees: Nil

The online application will be received from 00.00 (Zero) hours of 2nd December, 2020 till

24.00 hours of 16th December, 2020.

General instruction and other terms:

1. Candidates are required to apply in prescribed form through online mode only in the website

www.niyukti.assam.gov.in website

Instructions for filling up prescribed online form will be available in the

Before applying online, candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions provided 3.

in the above website.

4. Candidates who are already employed will have to obtain a No Objection Certificate from the

appropriate appointing authorities to appear in the Selection Test.

5. Candidates are required to upload latest passport size photograph, Age proof certificate, Mark

Sheet of qualiífying Examination, scanned signature, No Objection Certificate (for those already

employed), Caste certificate issued by competent authority (if any), up to date Employment

Registration Card, Computer proficiency certificate and EWS certificate (if any).

6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the written test /computer proficiency test.

7. Procedure for Selection: The applicants for the post of Junior Accounts Assistant whose

applications are found in order will be shortlisted for calling for the Selection Test in order of

merit in the ratio of 1:100 i.e. 100 candidates will be called against the vacancy. If the number of

candidates having the cut-off mark exceeds the ratio of 1:100 then the number of candidates to

be invited for the post will be allowed to go beyond the ratio of 1: 100 to the extent necessary to

the nearest higher ratio but limited to the same cut-off mark, so that no candidate with the same

cut-off mark is deprived from appearing in the Selection Test. The Selection Test will consist of

the following subjects.

(General Mathematics-25, General Knowledge -20, General English -25 and Language proficiency in Assamese /Bengali

Bodo-10) Computer Proficiency Test 20 2

N.B. Candidates shall have to exercise their choice of language i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo at

the time of submission of application itself and the choice once exercised shall be final.

The selection test will be held in Guwahati. 8. The date and venue of the written test will be notified at appropriate time through news paper

10. The decision of the Assam Information Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a

candidate for admission to the examination shall be final.

11. If any information declared by the candidate is found to be false at any stage, the candidature will

be cancelled.

12. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify Candidature.

13. The candidate will be responsible for any mistake made by him in the application form and the

Commission shall not be responsible or liable in any way.

14. The intending candidates have to follow the Small Family Norms as per Govt. Notification No.

ABP.69/2019/17 dated 06-11-2019 before applying their candidature.

15. The selected candidate will have to submit an undertaking to appointing Authority that he/she will

abide by the New Pension Scheme of the Government issued vide Finance Department letter

No.BW.3/2003/Pt-l/1dated 25.01.2005.

Documents verification:

All candidates will have to produce original copy of all testimonials i.e. Age proof certificate, Mark

Sheet of qualifying Examination, Computer Proficiency certificate, No Objection Cetificate (for

those already employed), Caste certificate issued by competent authority (if any), up-to-date

Employment Exchange Registration Card and EwS certificate (if any) at the venue of written

test.

They will have to submit self-attached copy of the Application form with photo (2 copies) and self

attached copies of other testimonials as mentioned above at the time of verification.
