The materials you put up here can be anything from Word documents to PowerPoint slides to PDFs. However, it is important to ensure that you are not breaching copyright. See our Copyright guidance to ensure that you are posting appropriate material. Uploading files 1. Click on the content area where you want to upload your notes or slides. 2. Hover over Build Content. 3. Choose File. 4. Name: give the file a name that will be meaningful to students (and yourself) throughout the module (e.g. ‘Week 1 lecture notes: Epicureanism’ rather than ‘Lecture’). 5. Find File: click Browse My Computer. 1

Uploading files1. Click on the content area where you want to upload

your notes or slides. 2. Hover over Build Content.

3. Choose File. 4. Name: give the file a name that will be meaningful to students (and yourself) throughout the

module (e.g. ‘Week 1 lecture notes: Epicureanism’ rather than ‘Lecture’). 5. Find File: click Browse My Computer. 6. Find the file you would like to upload and click Open.

7. Open in New Window: tick Yes.8. Permit Users to View this Content: tick Yes.9. Track Number of Views: tick Yes if desired.10. Select Date and Time Restrictions: add dates as necessary (note that students should be

able to access core materials throughout their studies).11. Click Submit.
