  • Welcome to enhanced digital banking!Coming Monday, March 27: Easier-to-use design, even better security and improved Bill Pay Better Online Banking, Better Bill Pay, and Better Mobile Banking from Evans are right around the corner! We’re enhancing your digital services over the weekend of March 24 and we’re excited for you to log on to better banking, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27.In order to take full advantage of your new digital banking experience, there are some important actions you’ll need to take during your initial login. We recommend logging into online banking and establishing your new password before logging into our new mobile banking app for the first time. When accessing the upgraded systems, use this helpful guide in conjunction with the on-screen instructions.With Evans Online Banking, you’ll have access to twelve months of account transaction history in an easier-to-use design and enhanced interface. Existing Bill Pay information, including payees, scheduled payments, payment history, contacts and other information will be available for you within the new system.

    Please note that previously established account alerts will not be available. We’ve improved our alerts to help you stay on top of your finances while you’re on the go, and you’ll need to reestablish them in online banking after March 27. See page 4 for more information.Keep this booklet handy when you log into new Evans Online and Mobile Banking for the first time.     Online BankingThe direct access website address for online banking will change. We recommend you visit the Evans Bank homepage to log in the first time on or after March 27.

    2. One-time Security Code After entering your username, you’ll be prompted to continue with a one-time security code. Click Continue with Security Code.

    1. Login Username. During your first login starting March 27, you will enter your existing username and will be prompted to go through Advanced Login Authentication, which requires either the receipt of a phone call or text message to obtain a security code.

    3. Security Code Choice • The one-time security code helps verify your identity. You may receive your code via text message or phone call. Select the option that works best for you.

    • Once the security code arrives, follow the on-screen or phone call instructionsto enter the code to authenticate and continue on to the password screen.

    Successful Login After you have logged on to the upgraded system, please take a moment to review the following information, and feel free to contact the Evans Customer Experience Center at (716) 926-3313 if you need assistance in any of these areas:

    • Accounts Overview—please ensure that all accounts are displayed.

    • Alerts—navigate to the Administration tab and select Manage Alerts to set up any account alerts that you wish to use.

    • Bill Pay—please ensure that you are able to access the Bill Pay system and that all funding accounts, payments and payees are visible. See Page 5 for more information regarding the enhanced Bill Pay service.

    Quicken® and Quickbooks® If you use Quicken® or Quickbooks® in conjunction with Evans Online Banking, you must de-activate and then re-activate your account. Visit evansbank.com/digitalbanking for details, including what to do if any transactional data is duplicated. Call the Evans Customer Experience Center at (716) 926-3313 if you need assistance.

    4. PasswordEnter Temporary Password. Evans new Online Banking security requires stronger passwords. When logging in for the first time, your initial, temporary password is your five digit zip code + the last four digits of your Social Security number. For business users, the initial password is the business-registered five digit zip code + the last four digits of your tax identification number (TIN).

    Create New Password. You will then be asked to reset your password to a new password to use thereafter. Please note this password will be case sensitive. The requirements for your new password are: 

    • at least 8 characters long,• contain at least 1 number,• contain at least 1 special character(i.e. !@#$%^&*,.),

    • contain at least 1 capital letter, and• contain at least 1 lower-case letter.

    Accessing Bill Pay, Adding and Managing Payees, New Bill Pay Process • Bill Pay cutoff time will change from 5:00 p.m. EST to 4:00 p.m. EST.

    • Bill Pay customers may not set up a recurring payment for more than one time per month to the same payee.

    • New! A single payment may be made to the same payee, multiple times in a month.

    1. Getting Started From the start, Evans new Bill Pay offers you the ability to:

    • Add a Payee.

    • Make multiple or recurring payments and manage payees.

    • Make a single, quick, one-time payment.

    • From any Bill Pay screen, you can also select Activity to view, print orreport recent and scheduled payments.

    • You can also view payment history by clicking on the History tab.

    2. Add a Payee • New! Search hundreds of popular localand national retailers/utilities/financialinstitutions, making it simple to add or update payees. Manual entry is also available.

    3. Make Payments • Pay bills all at once on the Make Paymentstab. Simply add the amount, send date and click confirm.

    • Set up future and recurring payments. Evans new Bill Pay also offers “comingdue” reminders to help keep you on track.

    4. Manage Payees • From any payee, click the drop downmenu to edit payee information, add invoices, make additional payments, view bills and more.

    5. Single Payment Option • Make a single payment quickly in the Single Pay tab. You can also manage payeeinformation by clicking the Options drop down located within the payee box.

  • Initial Login, Account List, Mobile Bill Pay, Transfers and Remote DepositsAs an Evans Online Banking customer, you automatically have access to Evans Mobile Banking. Simply download the new Evans Bank mobile app for free on or after March 27. The new Evans Bank app is available for iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android tablet, and Kindle Fire. If you’re a current mobile banking user, be sure to delete the existing Evans Bank app from your device. To log in, use the same Login ID and password you use to access online banking.After inputting your username and password, you’ll be prompted to answer a series of simple questions to help authenticate your identity. This helps keeps you safe and registers your device. Follow the on-screen prompts. After verification, you’ll see a welcome message.

    1. Mobile Banking New Login • Enter your User ID and Password to logonto Evans Mobile Banking.

    • You can find an Evans Bank location, askfor help or learn more about Evans Bank without logging in.

    2. Mobile Banking Accounts • After the initial welcome message, you will be taken to your accounts. Tap any account to access the account summaryand transaction details.

    • Selecting the + sign will take you to the Bill Pay Menu screen where you can transfer funds, pay and manage bills, ormake a deposit.

    3. Mobile Banking Menu• Select Transfer to move money between your Evans Bank accounts.

    • Tap Pay Bill to pay a one-time billor set up a recurring payment.

    • Select Deposits to photograph a checkyou’d like to deposit and send to Evans Bank via yourmobile device.

    • Selecting the X sign exits themenu screen and returns youto the accounts screen.

    4. Mobile Banking Transfers • First select the account you wishto transfer money from.

    • Then select the account you wishto transfer money to.

    • Select the amount to be transferred.

    • Tap Continue to save andtransfer now.

    To pay bills from your mobile device:

    • Tap the Payee link to choose a payee.

    • Once you’ve selected your payee(in this case, Verizon Wireless), choose theaccount you’d like the funds drawn from.

    • Choose the date you’d like the billto be paid.

    • Enter the amount you’d like to pay.

    • Add an optional short note in the memofield.

    • Then select Continue. This will load allthe information you provided onto onescreen, allowing you to edit or confirm your payment.

    6. Mobile Check Deposit • Depositing checks is easy. Tap the main menu, select Deposit, and follow the on-screen instructions to photograph the front and back of your check using your smart phone or mobile device camera. Tap Continue to confirm and make yourdeposit.

    Business Online Banking at Evans

    New Online Banking for Business offers intuitive features to make managing your cash flows easier and more efficient. We’ve designed the experience with clear drop down menus, smarter workflows and fewer icons.Plus, Evans Online Banking for Business administrators won’t need to worry. Sub-user access for wire transfers and ACH will convert to the upgraded system. For business Bill Pay users, sub-users will also be converted, however administrators will need to reinstate bill pay permissions.• Search transaction history by date range. • For Cash Management, the current services offered under the Cash Manager tab can be accessed by intuitive, functional tabs.

    • Under the Transfers tab, you can originate ACH, upload ACH files, conduct wire transfers, make loan payments, and move funds between accounts.

    • Under the Customer Service tab, you can securely send documents to Evans, submit inquiries or request stop payments, check copies or statements.

    • Positive Pay and ACH Debit Filter will be totally integrated into the new Online Banking for Business under the Positive Pay tab.

    • New! Account detail provides both pending and posted items, reducing the number of clicks to access this information.

    • New! Schedule recurring ACH transactions, wires, and account transfers.

    • New! Enhanced batching for ACH and wire transfers. You can upload and save your own templates to work within Evans Online Banking for Business.

    • New! Business users now have access to mobile banking, payments, and mobile deposit.
