Course Route & Traffic● Due to the need for a creating a course that does not cross major arterials, the course will be

changed to an out and back course on the Centennial trail that can be run over 3 days without traffic impacts. The marathon race course will be re-certified as USATF certified course before race day.

● All distances will start and finish in the Parking lot of the Windermere Real Estate Valley office (16201 E Indiana Ave, Spokane Valley, Wa, 99216). (Detailed course maps and start finish line maps will be made available as soon as they are available on the website: windermeremarathon.com)

● Please be an alert runner. Since this is a multiple day event, runners should be aware that this is an open course and not closed to other users or traffic. Runners must follow normal pedestrian and traffic laws.

● The Marathon is the only distance that will leave the Centennial trail for a about 0.4 miles at Maringo trailhead. This is the only time that any distance will leave the trail.

RaceJoy app.○ Spectators should also watch the start and finish line through the live stream on

our Facebook channel.● Please no congregating of any kind. If you do plan on watching your runner in person,

Final Disclosures

2020 has been anything but expected. We are continuing to work with the health department and city officials to constantly monitor our strategies and policies leading up to the event. The health and safety of our runners, volunteers, staff, and community is our top priority. We do not anticipate having to change this race strategy, but we acknowledge that all things are possible at this time. We ask runners to remain adaptable with any updated information that may be made available in the coming weeks. Thank you for running with us and your continued patience this year!
