Abstract

I am working on the project FAB analysis of celkon mobiles. The idea of mobiles came as early as the late 1973 with the Motorola Dyna-Tac , but this mobile was mainly designed for talk,listen & dial. It was the first truly portable mobile phone was developed, but it had no display but at least the talking, listening & dialing was possible. Now as mobile phone became a necessary part of working because of its friendly usability and features most of the market segments is attracting towards mobiles. The main advantage of the mobiles is that it is movable device and one can take it anywhere according to his/her need, but this is not possible in land phone.

.So I am making a report on FEATURE, BENEFIT AND ADVANTAGES of

celkon mobile phones . This report contain the information about what are the features benefits, and advantages celkon mobile phones possess and how much it has market share. If possible then we also include what are the features are need to be added in the mobile phones in order to have more benefits and advantages to the end users that is consumers.

.I am working on this project to analysis the feature, benefit, and

advantages of the mobile phones. On completion of this project we hope that we will prove that the celkon mobile phones have great goodwill in the market in respect to his features and benefit point of view and also it has good increasing market share in future.

Introduction

Celkon mobiles is purely Indian company. and born in Andhara pradesh,India.

Celkon mobiles is a very fast growing company in India.

it was started in 2010, with in 2 years of time it got become National product now.

Now Celkon mobiles is available all over India, and service center also available in all small and big towns in India

Every Celkon phone features highly sensitive interfaces customized to user's tastes.

OBJECTIVE

The primary objective for this project is:

To survey the feature, benefit and advantages of the celkon mobile phones.

Secondary objective:

To find out the model of celkon mobile phones, which enjoys the maximum market share?

To search the real competitors of celkon mobile phones.

Challenges

The Celkon mobile phones face challenges from two players in the market. The main competitors of Celkon are SPICE, MICROMAX.

SPICE:

Spice mobile proves 2 circles of 23 Telecom Circles of India .

The company is a leading manufacturer of smartphones, tablet, i-phones and normal mobile phones.

The company also provides IT support services. Spice outsources its manufacturing and sells through resellers and distributors worldwide.

The company has enjoyed resurgence of late, ranking as the fastest growing mobile vendor for several years running.

It now vies with Celkon and Micromax.

MICROMAX:

While MICROMAX is known as consumer electronics for product innovation, the company's corporate development is a tale of reinvention. Micromax provides enterprise and consumer a full range of high-tech equipment, including personal mobile telephones , LED Televisions and tablet equipments. Its software portfolio includes Android systems, business and product lifecycle.

In this project we are applying FAB which is Features Advantages & Benefits Theory. The FAB analysis is explained as below.

FAB:-

For any business success will be directly related to the real or perceived benefits that any products or services offer the customer. In order to develop effective marketing programs it is important to clearly define the features, advantages, and benefits of the products or services from the customer’s perspective.

The Feature of a product or service is what the customer will receive. The Advantage is what the customer perceives to be important. The Benefit is the customer need or want satisfied by purchasing the

product or service.

FAB for products or services will be very useful to the customers as well as for the company to develop their respective plan according to the FAB associated with the product or service they are providing. This will make easier for consumer to choose their product as per their need.

As we know that FAB there is a lot information is available with the product, the FAB analysis assist in organizing this information. But while choosing for analysis one should be as specific as possible when identifying the features, advantage and benefits.
