    Insurance coverage has been purchased for the Pacific Cascade Region. The cost is approximately $800.00 per year, covering all the regional meetings and events so long as the facilities are rented in the name of the Pacific Cascade Region.     Motion reads: To update our regional website guidelines and procedures per attached two pages containing specific details of each line-by-line change. Intent: Promote unity between regional and area websites allowing links to their sites placing them accountable to their areas for their own content and reduce redundant features of the website. Motion passed.

    Item 4 – Unfinished Business Merchandise split from PCRCNA XIII. As the Regional Activities subcommittee chairperson is not present

    for today’s meeting due to a death in the family, it was discussed and decided the C&C subcommittee chairperson would split and distribute the merchandise equally among the areas during today’s meeting. This will allow all areas to receive their portions of the leftover convention merchandise.

    **New Business** Item 1 – Interim Nominations for open positions. Chairperson asked minutes to state the following: Returning the Treasurer election to Areas for further input

    does not in any way reflect on any particular person, this is a critical position and careful consideration must be taken in choosing this trusted servant. More discussion and questioning of Alternate Treasurer regarding willingness to fulfill duties on interim basis followed Chairperson’s statement.

    At request of the service body, Amy F resigned the Alternate Treasurer position in order to become the Interim Treasurer

Item 2 – 2006-2007 Pacific Cascade Region budget. – Approved 12-0-0. See attached copy. Item 3 – New business motions (completed motion forms are attached to these minutes) Motion 1 – Motion reads: To remove from the PCR Bylaws section, Article 5-Section 2-Letter F “2nd Alternate

    Delegate” and any other reference to this position. Intent: To remove the regional position of 2nd Alternate Delegate and a 6-year service position from bylaws. Financial Impact on Region: $1,100 annually. Motion automatically tabled – bylaw change.

    Motion 2 – Motion reads: To delete from Officer positions in PCR Handbook subsection “and 2nd Alternate” from

    Alternate Delegate (AD) and to delete from PCR budget 2006-2007 line item for 2nd Alternate Regional Delegate. Intent: To dissolve and delete from PCR Handbook a job description no longer needed. Financial Impact on Region: $1,100 annually. Motion tabled 12-0-0.

    Item 4 – Money Motions (completed motion forms are attached to these minutes) MM1 – Motion reads: One time expenditure for both RD and Alt RD at $400 each to attend WSZF 2006 July 28-30,

    2006 in Santa Barbara CA. Intent of Motion: Expenses are more than budgeted allotment which is $500 for each. Financial Impact on Region: $800 additional. Motion passed 10-0-2.

    MM2 – Motion reads: One time expenditure of $150 to send the H&I Vice Chair in addition to the PCR H&I chair to

    WSLD XX, Seattle, Nov 6, 2006. Intent of Motion: To fund both PCR H&I Chair & Vice chair to WSLD XX Seattle, WA ’06 and to bring back to region adequate info/training. Financial Impact on Region: $150 additional. Motion passed 10-1-0.

    2006). Travel will be July 28-30, 2006. Intent of Motion: To be fully self-supporting. Full allotment is $500 for Alt. Delegate. Airfare is $550. Financial Impact on Region: $50 additional. Motion passed 12-0-0.

    MM4 – Motion reads: Reimburse Cathy K $16.32 for copies over budget. Intent of Motion: to be fully self-
