Scenario A Scenario B Scenario C

Even if it implies some problems in security and quality con-trol, the Scenario C has been chosen because of its social impact and feasibility in short time.

Informal Kindergartens scenario

Mum/manager

Social assistant

Five kindergartens for each group of five blocks.Weekly rotation.

Kindergarten in the house: mum house-owner is the manager of the kindergarten, helped by a social assistant.Costs are divided among participant families, so kindergartens are eco-nomically self-sustainable.

free public spacesolutions for parks4.2

Generalstrategyavoiding expropriation, allowing self-construction, controlling the scale of the interventions, controlling investments, step-by-step feasibility, reference to local legislation.

Poliduct northern zone as the barrio “sport strip” compatibility with slopes, no fixed structures (for he risk linked to he poliduct), possibility to get the area for free (or at a very low cost) from the municipality, for public interest use.

Re-naturalizationIn the most problematic zones (for water presence, for very high slopes – landslides), with the use of local original vegetation and “natural assets” for water channels; big reserve at the urban scale (urban project).

Equipped parkscompatibility with slopes, no fixed structures (for he risk linked to he poliduct), possibility to get the area for free (or at a very low cost) from the municipality, for public interest use.

Base: availability of lots of free space in tertiary streetsNeeds: no expropration, pedestrian and emergency access for every parcel, need for water drainage, flexibility.

flexible

A complete set of solutions in different fields, to fit the need ofthewholecommunity.Services are adapted to the El Fortin situation, thanks to a direct experience in place and a deep survey. The modular approach makes the scenario replicable, whith little adjustments to other similar situation and adaptable to future urban changes.
