Cernavoda NPP ensures the safe operation of Units 1 and 2 – CANDU type

reactor each with an installed power of 700 MW.

Cernavoda NPP Unit 1 was commissioned on December 2th, 1996 and

Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 on September 28th 2007.
