EXT. PLAZA - MORNING

A large crowd fills the plaza, some are cheering, others holding signs, a few just passing by, and combinations of the three. The crowd looks like they could be participating in some kind of sporting event and or a fashion/film red carpet.

LOUISE (V.O.)Good Morning! And welcome to the Beaverlick County Semi Professional Slightly International Competition for Aerodynamic Oragamic Betula Papyrifera.

FLO (V.O.)B.C.S.P.S.I.C.A.O.B.P For Short

We see LOUISE PASSWATTER and FLORENCE LEDBETTER, two hip young woman standing in front of the crowd addressing the camera. People in the crowd wave at the camera and shake their signs, somewhat looking more like animals in a zoo then people at a sporting event.

LOUISEI'm Lousie Passwater

FLO I'm Florence LedBetter. And we are your Masters of Ceremony for what will surely be a competition to remember.

LOUISE Today's competitors should be arriving any moment now so lets head on in!

INT. LOBBY - MOMENTS LATER

The lobby has a handful of people scattered throughout, some fans and competitors of the event but mostly people passing by confused by the camera crew.

Flo and Lousie stand behind a table that reads CHECK IN.

FLOThere is some very stiff competition this year. Oh, here comes three-year reigning champion, Lester Beverhousen now!

LESTER BEVERHOUSEN followed by ANASTASIA BEVERHOUSEN enters

the lobby and approaches the table.

LOUISEAnd who is your chaperone this year?

Anastasia Beverhousen flamboyantly makes her(his) presence known

LESTERMy Dad's new trophy wife, I knew something was strange about her when we went shopping and everyone else was acting like they had seen godzilla or something everywhere we went

ANASTASIAI am well aware of my peculiar appearance, and I am very aware of what others think of it. But my lovely Husband and buetifull Lester love me for who I am and that's all that matters.

CHARLES ST. CHARLESTON approaches the table

LOUISEOh, look who it is! Seven time winner of the Lindsey Lohan Endowed Award in Persistence and Consistency, Charles St. Charleston.

FLOWWelcome back, Charles... again.

CHARLESIt's good to be back. Flo

Lester walks in the background when he notices Charles has arrived and heckles him from a distance.

LESTERHey, Nerd! Don’t you think you’re a little old for this competition?

CHARLESDon't you think you're a little arrogant for this competition?

CHARLES TALKING HEAD

CHARLESEight years ago, I was fourth runner up in the competition, and I’ve managed to climb one spot, every four years since. A lot of these kids look up to me.

LESTER TALKING HEAD

CHARLESIt just feels good to be setting an example for them, and this is my year. Second runner up, I can feel it.

AUTUMN FOGG and STORMY FOGG approach the table

STORMYThis is Autumn Fogg. She’s been working very hard, and we’re hoping she’ll do her best.

AUTUMNI’m very excited to be here perusing my dream in Aerodynamics.

Lester again walks in the background and catches a glimpse of Autumn causing him to stop and double take

LESTER TALKING HEAD

LESTERMy queen.

FLOWell, we are happy to have you. Go ahead and move to the waiting area, and we’ll begin shortly.

INT. WAITING AREA - MOMENTS LATER

The competitors are spread out through the room. Anastasia approaches Louise and Flow who sit at the front of the room, she(he) pulls out box wine from her purse.

ANASTASIAHey ladies! I couldn’t help but notice your…sippy cups. I thought you might like to know, I brought juice boxes!

They both look at each other then back at the wine

In the back separate from the others are Autumn and Stormy.

Stormy shakes her finger at Autumn and speaks firmly but quietly.

STORMYYou listen to me, we have worked too long and too hard for you to screw this up, do you understand me? I cannot have you-

Stormy glances over her shoulder and notices the camera crew, her tone quickly changes.

STORMY-overworking yourself, dear. Here, drink some water and relax.

The camera goes to Charles who is performing a strange warm up consisting of badly performed yoga and modern dance. Everyone around him has backed away in fear of getting hit.

CHARLESThis is my warm up. It’s an absolute must. I can’t compete until it’s done. Some people say its overkill, but it has served me well over the last eight years.

LESTER TALKING HEAD

Lester shakes his head and rolls his eyes

BACK TO SCENE

Lester nervously approaches Autumn

LESTERSo, uh, Autumn, right?

AUTUMN Hi!

LESTERI’m Lester. I’m, uh, kind of a big deal around here. Let me know if you, uh, need any pointers.

AUTUMNSure , thanks!

Lester winks walks back and knocks over a decoration and awkwardly puts it back and smiles.

LESTER TALKING HEAD

LESTERStupid, studpid, stupid!

AUTUMN TALKING HEAD

AUTUMNWell Lester, he's um-

She giggles and blushes

AUTUMN Pretty cool.

BACK TO SCENE

Flo stumbles into the room drunk and adresses the room.

FLOAlright you little gremlins. Lets get it over with. Follow me.

Everyone starts to follow Flo to the competition zone. Lester and Autumn are last to leave.

AUTUMNGood luck out there. Lester.

She joins the others and leaves. Lester stands frozen for a moment and watches her leave.

LESTERI love you.

Lester snaps out of it and glances to see if anyone hear him then runs to catch up with everyone.

INT. COMPETION ZONE - CONTINUOUS

The competitors are lined up on a rail on the second story that opens up into a landing area. Up front on the bottom floor is the judges table.

Louse is passed out on the table as Flo walks up and sees her.

FLOLouise... Lousie.. LOUSIE! Shit.

Flo turns around and sees Anastasia standing with the other parents and grabs her.

FLO Your Hired.

The competitors stand in a line on the rail getting prepared for the completion to start.

Charles is still warming up pumping himself up

CHARLESYou got this, Charlie. This is your year. You’ve been training for this. You can DO THIS!

Autumn stands staring foward with a nervous face.

STORMY(v.o.) We have sunk every last penny we have into this for you! If you fail, you’re out on the street-

Lester looks at Autumn, down at his plane then back at Autumn. He crinkles the nose of his plane.

Anastasia is now sitting at the judges table next to Flo. Louise is laying behind table still passed out.

ANASTASIAWelcome, Kids!. - Oh!

Anastasia is shocked by the loud sound of her voice

FLO Let the 2015 B.C.S.P.S.GH FDAVAGISTUD STD... commence!

Her head falls to the table.

Everything moves in slow motion as everyone throws their plane. Charles goes the farthest, Autumn next, and Lester's just falls to the ground and plummets.

Back to normal speed

CHARLES - I did it. I did it! I DID IT!

Stormy Screams and leaps foward from the other parents.

Charles has made his way down to the judges table to pick up his prize Anastasia with nothing else to give him gives him the rest of the boxed wine.

Lester sadly packs his bags, Autumn nerviously walks up behind him

AUTUMNI saw what you did

LESTER I dont know what you're talking about-

Autumn interrupts him with a kiss on the cheek causing him to faint.

Camera pulls back to show Charles jumping in joy holding his "prize", Anastsia trying to wake Flo and Louise, Stormy weeping on the ground,Lester on the ground smiling, and Autumn looking at camera smiling.
