TOURNAMENT RULESSCRATCH MIXED DOUBLES (Man & Woman)

1. Eligibility - All 2021-2022 USBC certi ed members. 2. Entries close October 8th, 2021 at 6:30 PM (Last Squad). Reserved entries must be accompanied by a certi ed check or money order. No entry

will be accepted where application is not fully completed. Entries will be accepted at the site if spots are available on any of the squads.(NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED)

3. All entries received and processed are subject to a $5.00 cancellation fee per entry. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR NO-SHOWS. 4. Tournament Format: Four (4) games across eight (8) lanes. 5. Re-Entry - Unlimited re-entries permitted, however, each entrant may cash only once with the same partner. When ties occur, the prize money will

be combined and divided equally among tied position winners. 6. Alibi Entries - Pay the Alibi Entry fee and match your scores with another bowler of the opposite gender on the same squad. 7. Prize fund will be paid 100%. Prize ratio will be at least one (1) prize for every eight (8) entries. Any bowler who quali es for total winnings of

$600.00 or more during the tournament must provide a tax identi cation number to receive awarded prize(s). 8. Past PBA/PWBA/Senior PBA National Champions may be permitted to bowl, if their championship was not within the last 10 years. Past

PBA/PWBA/Senior PBA/Amateur Regional Champions may be permitted to bowl, if their championship was not within the last 5 years. Former PBA/PWBA/Senior PBA members who have not held a card for the past year of the tournament start date are eligible to bowl. Current PBA/Senior PBA/Amateur members will be allowed to bowl if you have not won a Regional Championship in the last 5 years.

9. Current PWBA/Amateur members will be allowed to bowl, if you have not won a PBA/PWBA Championship in the last 5 years. 10. Premature termination of the tournament brought about by war, national emergency or emergency causes relating thereto or there from; res,

strikes, lockouts, labor dif culties or other reasons beyond the control of the SIBC Scratch Mixed Doubles Tournament, shall cause the foregoing prize schedules to be prorated in accordance with the number of entrants who have bowled.

11. All rules not stated above will be governed by USBC rules. 12. The SIBC Scratch Mixed Doubles Tournament Committee will make all decisions and reserves the right to refuse or reject any entry.

TOURNAMENT RULESCLASSIC DIVISION (Men, Women and Seniors)

1. Eligibility - All 2021-2022 USBC certi ed members. Senior Bowlers must be 53 years or older on or before October 9th, 2021. 2. No USBC cards may be purchased at the site. All bowlers must show proof of USBC sanction before bowling. 3. Entry closing date: All entries must be fully paid and led with the Tournament Director by Friday, October 8th, 2021 or the rst 102 Men and

42 Women & 42 Seniors are registered and fully paid. Once a division is full, subsequent entries received will be held on a waiting list in the order received. All entries must be accompanied by certi ed check or money order. (NO PERSONAL CHECKS). $20 fee for entries received after October 7, 2021 including walk-ins if available.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY: A refund minus $10.00 processing fee will be made for cancellations made prior to 72 hours of the start of the tournament. There will be no refunds without a replacement within 72 hours of the tournament minus a $10.00 processing fee.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR NO-SHOWS 5. Tournament Format: a) All entrants will bowl two (2) four (4) game blocks - (8 games). b) Field is then cut 50%, based on highest pinfall for eight (8) games. These bowlers will then bowl a four (4) game block. c) The eld is then cut to 18 Men, 8 Women bowlers, and 8 Seniors (based on entries) with the highest pinfall for twelve (12) games for 102

men, 42 women and 42 Seniors. These bowlers will then bowl a four (4) game block. d) The top ve (5) bowlers who are nalists, will be determined by the total pinfall for sixteen (16) games. These bowlers will play stair-step

position, starting with the fth (5th) place bowler, who plays the fourth (4th) place bowler and etc. e) The nal roll-off game between the top two (2) nalists for the championship will be bowled on a neutral pair of lanes. 6. In the event of a tie to determine the bowlers for any cut or the stair-step position and advancement, those involved will utilize the one-ball sudden-

death roll-off and repeated until the tie is broken. All other ties will result in a split of the prize money. 7. ALTERNATE BOWLER: When an alternate bowler enters the tournament, the bowler that is being replaced cannot return in this tournament.The

alternate assumes the score of the bowler he/she is replacing, minus one hundred (100) pins. 8. Dress Code: All entrants are REQUIRED to wear shirt/blouses with participants name during each round of competition. Tank tops, halter tops,

tee-shirts, spandex and athletic shorts will not be allowed. All male bowlers qualifying for the stair-step ladder must wear pants (no jeans, shorts or etc.). Bowlers may not wear headgear of any kind. There will be a $25.00 fee per squad for any infraction of this rule. ENFORCED

9. Past PBA/PWBA/Senior PBA National Champions may be permitted to bowl, if their championship was not within the last 10 years. Past PBA/PWBA/Senior PBA/Amateur Regional Champions may be permitted to bowl, if their championship was not within the last 5 years.
