• Our goal is that you will leave this workshop Encouraged, Empowered and Equipped with a plan that will yield fruit in your life.

Unless a man of God is intentional

• He will take the easy path

• Will settle for less

• Will be disengaged

• Will be unclear about his future direction

• Will not present right now because he is worried about the future

• Will feel disempowered

• Will gravitate to comfort, addiction and the spiral down…

• Every man needs a plan!

Unless a man yields to the harness of his life

• He will not grow

• Will be frustrated

• Will be unstable

• Will be unhappy

• Will be impotent

• Will not be impacting

The Harness of your life is:

• Your calling• Your responsibilities• Your current role or assignment• The circumstances that you find yourself in regardless of your choosing• Fighting the harness is ineffective – submit to it and find the grace in that

moment of time

1 Degree Change – 1 in 60 Rule

• Navigators are familiar with the 1 in 60 Rule – for everyone 1 degree change to course you can be 1 mile of course in 60 miles of travel

• That small one degree correction is essential to stay on course. It is the same with our lives. Make that one degree change, if you need to, sooner rather than later.

• Small changes make big differences

• We need consistent daily action

AudacityIn the last quarter of 2016 more than two hundred Jesuits met in Rome to choose a new international leader and to discern how to respond the greater needs of the world. They looked at considerations from around 16000 Jesuits and many thousands of lay co workers from more than 112 nations in the world, from refugee camps to universities, from street life to tribal life, from the margins in society where suffering, injustice or despair hold sway to the centres of cities, technology, education and social services.

We pray for the courage and the freedom 'to dare the audacity of the improbable', as we respond to God's call…

... with the humility of those who know that, in this service where the human engages all his energy, everything depends on God.
