business and IT and capable to develop and maintain efficient and reliable IS for all sectors of economy. At
the same time specialists should follow high ethic standards.

This course explores Genesis of Mongols, their language, scripts, and education system,
Nomadic way of life, World-view of Mongols, and their State and statehood of Mongols
in the past, present, and future time. Throughout this course, students will acquire first,
distinction of Mongols in the socio-cultural framework; second, know a set of rigorous
analytic skills that will allow them think deeper and reach pith of the matter by
themselves; third, will be able to work as a team to express their opinions.
2 Mongolian Stylistics MLS111
This course will cover the concepts of standards of the literary language to be mastered
and followed by the people who speak Mongolian, classification of the errors made by
the misusing the standards, specific features of each type of stylistics, types of the essays
and orthography. The students will also learn the methods and methodolgy of producing
official documents between individuals and organizations, writing essays, analysing and
interpreting texts, making a presentation, correcting orthographical and stylistical errors.

This course studies the basic understandings of set which is the basic understanding of
set theory, set elements, operation on set, matrix which is the element of linear algebra,
matrix operations, determinant of a matrix, methods of solving linear systems of equation
and its analysis, applications,

which are the basic elements of the optimization theory, transportation problem and
methods of solving transportation problem, complex number which is the basic
understanding of dynamic analysis, first and second order differential and difference
equation, methods of solving first and second order differential and difference equation
and their applications. Accordingly, students will be able to use mathematical
methodology how to make some conclusions and decisions in economics, business,
finance and investment problems.

Microeconomics topics will include the basics of supply and demand, market
equilibrium, elasticity, market efficiency and equity, organizing production, their output
and cost measurement, the optimal choice of maximizing the firm's profit and the types of
the market competition. The students will also be introduced to the macroeconomics
main theoretical concepts such as gross domestic product, and its measurement,
economic growth, employment, unemployment, price level, inflation, exchange rate,
balance of payment, aggregate demand, aggregate supply, fiscal policy and monetary
policy. The student will gain basic knowledge about the decision making of the
consumers and producers as the main economic participants as well as skills of
interpreting the prospects and causes of the national and international economy based on
the macroeconomics main concepts and indicators on the elementary level.
3 Civil Defense
The course is a study of the law on Disaster Protection , procedures of disaster
protection activities, organization, force, types of disasters and their impacts, duties for
protection organizations and citizens from disasters, modern chemical, biological and
bacteriological weapons and their special features.

Software Essentials
This course is aim to introduce word processing software that allows users to work with
documents and styling academic papers according to academic standards, and
spreadsheet program features including various types of formulas, pivot table, creation of
graphs and other advanced tools for processing data.

methods to describe algorithm, block diagram to describe algorithms, structural and not

This course introduces to the concepts of philosophy, specific features of the Western,
Eastern, mediaval, renaissance, early modern and modern philosophical thoughts, ides of
their main representatives, theoretical issues of philosophy / life or existence and its
cognition by a person/ , branch of philosophy /linguistic, cultural, aesthetic, historico-
social, human philosophy, economic philosophy and political philosophy/.
Chorus CLT241
This course is a study of the following basic concepts, such as theory of music, rhythm,
musical note, dynamic nuances, vocal category, proper breathing, blend and balance,
sight-reading proficiency and a cappella singing. As well as the students will learn
techniques of singing with the conductor in the orchestra, making their voice clear and
managing own voice.
Drama CLT242
This course introduces students to the origin and development of Mongolian and World
theatres, acting skills, concentration on the stage, actions, contacts on the stage,
sensitivity, imagination, fantasy, creating a role, stage positioning, literal and figurative
meaning of the word and practice of better pronunciation. The students will develop their
artistic thinking, get aesthetic education,communication culture and conviction, as well as
they will be able to express their opinion freely in public.
Painting CLT243
This course introduces the basic concepts , such as theoretical knowledge about the
Mongolian and world art, working on lines, quick drawing, colors and their harmony,
drawing, composing, black and colored drawings. The students will understand art
works, develop their abstract mindset, see things from multiple angles, develop their
aesthetic perception, dress properly, work on the sketches, gain skills and creative
attitude of creating workplace and living environment culture.
Dance CLT244
This course is a study of the origin and development of the world and Mongolian dance,
Mongolian ethnical dance, the first elements of motion harmony of the traditional and
folk dance, classic and free-style dance, techniques of Latin dance, basic movements,
footwork, sitting and handhold, basic turnout. The students will also possess dancing
techniques, motion harmony, get aesthetic education and gain skills of healthy living and
dynamic movement.

This course covers the concepts of the Mongolian and world literary poetry, prose, play,
specific types of literary critics, writer’s work, writing skills, types of the contemproray
journalism, journalist’s skills, special characteristics of publication writing, newshound
and civil journalism. It will develop the student's skills of imagination and aesthetic
perception to analyse the art works in the modern society, analysing poetry and prose,
developing imagination, using and possessing the expressive means of the native
language.
Volleyball PHE141
The course is a study of the history of volleyball development (draws, matches,
producing final evaluation), judge’s indications, team performances (attack and defense
versions), and volleyball related general body development exercises
Basketball PHE142
The subject will introduce the history of basketball development, dribbling, shooting,
rules (draws, matches, and producing final evaluation), judges indications, team
performances (defense and attack variations), and volleyball related general body
development exercises.
Aerobic PHE143
The subject is a study of the basic concepts of aerobics, history of its development,
modern types of aerobics, its basic principles, effects of aerobic and dance exercises on
the human body, performance of aerobics with equipment (with stepper, dumbbells, ball,
body bar, and rubber), without equipment (with high and moderate intense, with mixed
and low intense).

This course introduces the basic concepts about types and categories of athletics,
marching techniques, short, middle and long distance runs, marathon and techniques of
high jump, long jump and triple jump, techniques of throwing a harpoon and javelin as
well as speed, force, acumen and flexibility. The students will be able to perform any
difficult and easy exercises.

characteristics of the human body, accessories and equipment, arrow adjustment and
breakdown, basic shooting techniques, safety equipment and clothes, general physical

This subject is a study of how to properly conduct towards the environment, provide
with concept on conservation of natural and ecological balance, teach students with
Mongolians’ traditional customs towards nature, learn proper choice of clothes,
equipment, food appropriate to travel and whether conditions, proper breathing
techniques when traveling on foot, and techniques for mountain climbing.

patterns of the paragraph and the basic concepts of essay writing in English. Includes
comprehensive review of the grammar, English sentence structure and acquire linguistic
comprehension through texts. Additionally, this course aims to prepare students use their
writing skills in university setting and future job environment. Upon completion of the
course, students will be able to clearly utter ideas and descriptions in given topic in

International English Language Testing System (IELTS),an elective course aims to prepare students
for academic IELTS exam. The class is designed to those students who take the IELTS test and
plan to undertake higher education study or work in professional that demand high competencies in
English. It. It focuses on four modules of IELTS exam -Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
skills and techniques required to sit for the test and assists students to familiarize with the various
test formats and acquire test-taking strategies. Students will practice different language task-types
