This system provides detailed, real-me informaon, including: demographics, schedules, assignments, assessment scores, calendar, grades, aendance, graduaon progress, academic planner, to do lists, reports, and district and school noces. X X Learning with Technology (113) Technology is changing how students learn! Across the naon, students in all grade levels are using desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and more to share and gather informaon from teachers and peers from all over the world. This course will alert parents of some of the new ways educators are teaching with technology and help parents be aware of how they can support this new format of learning at home. 3-5 6-8 Most Wanted: Trending Apps Used by Teens for Cyberbullying (332) In this training, parents will have the opportunity to understand the definion of cyberbullying. Parents will download and learn how to use the top applicaons/social media plaorms kids are using for cyberbullying. Most importantly, parents will get an overview of how to promote upstander and digital leadership behaviors with their children. (Presented by CCSD Equity & Diversity) 4-5 X PBS KIDS Family Creave Learning (418) PBS KIDS Family Creave Learning is a series of six workshops that engage families in a project-based creave process. The series uses creave play to introduce both kids and grownups to excing digital and tangible tools that they can use to develop computaon and engineering knowledge, pracces, and perspecves as they imagine, plan, design, and create their own child-led projects. The series aims to support and foster collaboraon, communicaon, problem-solving, and STEM skills among family members while empowering them to create and express themselves with media and technology. (Presented by KLVX Vegas PBS) Ages 3-8

Preparing Your Child for Standardized Testing (105E & M) Testing is required in all CCSD schools for two main purposes. One is to find out how well an individual student is

learning in the classroom. The other purpose is to find out how well the school is meeting local and national benchmarks for student achievement. Assessment examples and ways parents can help relieve test anxiety, stress,

and pressure will be presented.

Raising a Digital Leader (128) This workshop provides information on how to keep children safe while using the internet. Learn how to be a positive Digital Leader, set boundaries and rules, and how to avoid common internet scams. Families will also review CCSD’s

internet usage rules and regulations. X X

Safe and Secure Online (506) This course is designed to provide participants with cybersecurity education and awareness training in order to se-

cure their online lives. Participants will learn how to look for signs of technology based problem and threats, and how to protect themselves and their children from online predators. The instructor will use

research-based information to assist family members to become responsible digital citizens. (Presented by NV Energy)

TECHNOLOchicas (334) This course is designed to raise awareness among young Latinas and their families about opportunities and careers in technology. TECHNOLOchicas uses the powerful stories of Latinas from diverse backgrounds, who are in technology fields, and recognize the power of innovation to change the world. This course highlights the importance of encour-

aging and supporting young Latinas in STEM and technology subjects in school and beyond. (Presented by CCSD Career & Technical Education)
