Course Description

We are offering two paths to obtain a master’s degree in Landscape Studies and Greenspace Management.

Both paths contain elements of landscape studies and green-space management and also include the opportunity to im-prove language skills, experience other ways of working and gain insight into specialized fields on the edge of landscape studies and greenspace management, meet other cultures and the chance to explore Mecklenburg’s unique landscapes. The course is taught in English and the teaching programme is open for both German and international students.

Path A is for students with bachelor degrees in Landscape Architecture and lasts two semesters . The first semester con-sists of three compulsory and two compulsory‐elective mo-dules which prepare the way for the final semester and an intensive four month master‐thesis.

Path B is for students with bachelor degrees in subjects re-lated to landscape architecture, such as Architecture, Land-scape Planning, Landscape Ecology and Geography. Path B lasts four semesters. For the second semester path B students join path A and share the three compulsory modules during the winter semester.
