The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon "Wood's Education Dispatch", and it is one amongst the first three Universities inIndia. It is abbreviated as MU for Mumbai University. The University was accorded 5 star status in 2001 & 'A' grade status in April 2012 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council NAAC). It has been granted University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) status by UGC and PURSE Scheme by DST. The University of Mumbai offers Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral courses apart from diplomas and certificates inmany disciplines. About the Seminar and Workshop:Research is the systematic and objective process of gathering, recording and analyzing data for taking appropriate and meaningful decisions. To keep pace with the recent advancementin any discipline, one has to be well versed with latest developments in research methodology. The seminor is designedto cater the needs of the physical education teachers, researchscholars and postgraduates in the field of Physical Education.One needs to possess a solid conceptual clarity so as to overcome the knowledge gaps or the wrong notions related to research for fruitful research to happen. Keeping in view the importance of research methodology, the seminar and workshop is aimed to explore the basic dimensions of research and createplatform for academicians and research scholars for sharing their views.

Guidelines for abstract and full paper /poster submission:
· Abstract of paper (250) in English / Hindi should include name,
designation, institutional affiliation, contact details, title, aim and
objectives, methods, results and discussion of the study
and should be sent to seminar email id
to the organizing secretary of the seminar.
· Selected papers submitted to the seminar will be published in
edited proceedings with ISBN after reviewing of papers by the
review committee and receipt of full payment of registration th
fees before 10 march 2017. Papers will not be accepted
without the payment of registration fees and after due date.
· Abstract and full paper must be in English/Hindi and should
be sent in Microsoft word format.
· Full paper should be of maximum 2000 words. Font style for
English should be Times New Roman and for Hindi should be
Mangal. Title and text of the abstract paper must be of 14
and 12 font size respectively.

· The participants are advised to send their registration forms along with

· Cash and Demand draft are not refundable in any case once submitted.
· Participants can also send the soft copy of the registration form to
