Fairhaven College, part of WWU, reviews student
applicants who have earned ATA degrees (and some
AFA degrees) for admission into their Upside Down
program, which provides substantial credit for the ATA
coursework as long as the student completes general
(interdisciplinary) core requirements and some other
types of individually planned coursework. Admission
criteria vary; contact the Fairhaven Admissions office
for preliminary assessment of whether or not the
Upside Down option is appropriate. Typically they
consider ATA degrees in Early Childhood, social
services, some of the graphic arts, etc.
