OBJECTIVES AND JUSTIFICATION FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF THE STUDY PROGRAM Program after graduation from History covers advanced knowledge of history.

Multidisciplinary study of theory and applied aspects in the framework of this study program

will help in finding solutions to contemporary challenges of Macedonian history in all of its

segments. This is an area that the period of prehistory to modern times is the intersection of

all the world's civilizations and cultures from which we can see the remains on the ground.

That is the basic postulate for which accreditation is required for study program history as a

science and historical and cultural thread spans chronological and cultural civilizations that

lived in this region.The purpose of this study program, History is an educational and

upbringing affect work qualification historians these areas of modern society where there is a

need for such an account.This study aimed aimed at preparing staff as members of the

professional team in schools, archives, libraries, professional services in various institutions,

diplomacy, museums, cultural centers, military schools, and numerous scientific and

research institutions. Acquire basic knowledge of history through the study of the contents of

History develops critical objective opinion as a basis for scientific interpretation of human

society formation - education as the greatest human values. Forming aesthetic, patriotic and

moral values, and develop a sense of their country. Multitude of historical events in which is

contained the rich experience of the past represents a solid foundation and a necessary

condition for the creation of the future.

8. YEARS AND SEMESTERS DURATION OF THE STUDY PROGRAM

This study program accepts eligible candidates under the terms and conditions

stipulated by the Law on Higher Education and the general regulations of the University. The

curricula of basic academic studies at the Faculty of Educational Sciences last four years or

eight (8) semesters.

9. ECTS CREDITS ACQUIRED BY STUDENTS - 240 ECTS 10. FINANCING: The cover of the costs of conducting undergraduate studies at the Faculty of

Educational Sciences will be realized through the so-called state quota and through co-

financing by candidates. The amount, method of payment and any other terms and

conditions are governed by the Rules for undergraduate studies in compliance with the Law

on Higher Education.

11. ENROLLMENT CONDITIONS General conditions for registration are determined in accordance competition for student enrollment in the first cycle of studies at the University "Goce Delchev" - Stip. Progress during the studies is defined in the Rules for the study of the first cycle of studies at the University "Goce Delchev" – Stip 11.1. TERMS OF SWITCHING FROM OTHER PROGRAMS OF STUDY

The student can move from one to another study program at the Faculty of Educational Sciences and other related programs of study at the University "Goce Delchev". He/she should attend and take obligatory subjects of the study program to which he/she transfers. 11.2. . TERMS OF ENROLLMENT OF NEW SUBJECTS IN ANOTHER SEMESTER OR

YEAR

The compulsory subjects are defined in the study program and they canno tchange. The student can choose appropriate electives from the list of courses offered by the respective faculty 12. CONTINUING EDUCATION With secondary education 13. ESTABLISHED CORRELATION BETWEEN COMPULSORY AND OPTIONAL SUBJECTS The determined ratio between compulsory and optional subjects in the study program

in History is 60% compulsory subjects; 30% elective and 10% university electives.

According to the established ratio 60 - 30 - 10, the study program and archiving

anticipates taking 27 compulsory subjects represented in the semesters, 11 College

electives included in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth semester and four university

electives included in the first and eighth semester.

Method of selection of elective subjects: elective subjects are chosen before the start of the semester by completing a semester paper and its submission to the Office for Student Affairs.

14. FACILITIES FOR THE REALISATION OF THE STUDY PROGRAM

The Faculty of Educational Sciences have the optimal conditions for organizing and teaching

first cycle. Faculties have appropriate classrooms and amphitheaters to perform theoretical

century, such as their material and spiritual culture.

Opening lecture (the medieval archaeology as a scientific discipline); Chronology of

the research up to now and review of the basic litterature; Historical, cultural,

chronological and spiritual characteristics of the European medievalism; The period

of the Great Migration of peoples and remnants of the material and spiritual culture of

12.Ottoman period I - Ancient numismatics: Objectives: Introduction to basic elements of ancient numisamtics, mastering the methods of identification and processing numismatics material. Content: Introduction of the monetary in antiquity, monetary systems, typology (obverse and reverse inscription, nominal), starting from coins copies of important hellenic city-states in the Balkans and Asia Minor;Paeonian tribes and rulers from early antquity, coins of the Macedonian rulers of classical and helenistic period, the Roman republican coins, coins autonomous macedonian cities, the Roman imperial period(I-V century): coins of the roman emperors and their family members (typology, monetary system, monetary reforms), coinage of roman provinces, mint of Stobi in roman times, introducing the basic elements of numismatics from the early Byzantine period. Undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Educational Sciences study program History

- Stip (first cycle studies) last 4 (four) years or eight (8) semesters and carry 240 credits.

Upon graduation, students receive a diploma with the title:

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN HISTORY

A student who successfully completed the study program in History can work as:

- curator historian

- historical guide

In addition, graduates of this study program has the possibility for further improvement,

through enrolment in second-degree academic studies in postgraduate study programs.

24. ACTIVITIIES AND MECHANISMS TO MAINTAIN THE QUALITY OF TEACHING

Within the realization of its integrative functions, University "Goce Delchev" is obliged constantly to take care of security and control of the quality of teaching and educational process. University, as a subsidiary body, has opened an office for self-evaluation and quality which has the authority to plan and analyze the valuation procedures of the whole system of teaching and research work of the University, to discuss the reports of evaluation and self-evaluation, and propose and take measures to improve the quality of higher education. Center quality monitoring will define strategies and policies, providing, promoting and developing quality programs of study, teaching and working conditions of the units of the University.

Instruments that will be used to monitor the quality of teaching and scientific research different subjects and modules will be

teacher survey

self-evaluation of teachers,

analysis of learning outcomes and examinations,

web portal ( е-learning tools),

improvement measures et.c.

In addition, as a quality measure, the answer to the following questions will be pursued:
