For Students from Northern Ireland
• No Tuition Fees - Fees for EU Students paid by Irish Government
• Registration Fees - As from 2014 all students will be required to pay Registration Fees of €2750 / £2200 per annum. Full loan available for N.I. Students
• Student loans available to cover full costs (accommodation/ living expenses - £4,840 if away from home)
• Non repayable grants available for households with an income of £41,000 or less (max £3,475 for £19,203)
For Students from Northern Ireland
• Easy Application (CAO). No Personal Statements / References.
• Students can apply to both UCAS & CAO
• Four Year Honours Degree - many Universities offer paid work experience, usually during third year
• Most Universities require Maths, English and a Modern Foreign Language at GCSE Grade C or above.
• No MFL requirement for most Institutes of Technology
Admissions Points System- GCSE/ A-Levels
• Points based on 4 A Levels or 3 A Levels & 1 AS Level or 3 A Levels
• Entry requirements can range from 220 to 560 CAO Points
• IT’s are more likely to accept Applied A-Levels
