Give a Stimulus to the Economy and the UCC!Over the next several weeks, many of us will be receivingEconomic Stimulus checks from the federal government. This extra money is an excellent opportunity to practice thediscipline of good stewardship by using the money for pur-poses beyond our own personal desires. Prayerfully considerusing all or part of the economic stimulus money for thebenefit of others, as we should with everything we receive.
All or a portion could be given as an extra gift back to Godthrough the Sunday collection, or to another charity. Eachtime we place God first by sharing all that we have beengiven -- our time, talent and treasure -- we are taking anotherstep toward becoming a disciple of Christ and following inhis footsteps. If you have any questions about this, pleasecontact Amber at [email protected] or 476-7351 x13.
