Misión MissionLa misión de la Universidad Internacional de la Rioja consiste en la formación integral del estudiante, para formar estudiantes en las competencias que demanda la sociedad actual. UNIR se compromete a cumplir con las necesidades y expectativas de todos los grupos de interés (estudiantes, personal docente e investigador, personal de administración y servicios, administracio-nes públicas y sociedad en general), implicados en el proceso mediante una formación de calidad que bus-que la mejora continua y la excelencia.
Tenemos una especial sensibilidad para atender a aquellos que por diversas circunstancias no puedan acceder a centros presenciales, o a los que pudiendo, prefieran optar por soluciones más abiertas e innova-doras que las tecnologías emergentes abran en la red.
La responsabilidad social orienta la política de UNIR hacia temas tan básicos como:
• Hacer posible el acceso a los estudiosuniversitarios a cualquier persona que con laformación previa adecuada quiera hacerlo,y eliminar completamente las barreras,de distancia, horarios, lugar, culturales ysociales, que lo impidan.
• Implementar de tal modo los recursosdocentes e investigadores mediante el desarrollode las tecnologías emergentes, que sea posibleofertar una enseñanza de alto nivel, con especialatención a aquellos que exijan los cambiosculturales, técnicos y sociales.
The mission of the International University of La Rio-ja is the integral formation of the student, to train students in the skills that today´s society demands. UNIR is committed to comply with the needs and expec-tations of any group of interest (students, teaching and research staff, administration and services staff, public administrations and the society in general), involved in the process through a quality education which looks for the continuous improvement and the excellence.
We have a special sensibility to attend to those who, for different reasons, can´t access to face-to-face edu-cation, or those who can but prefer to choose other solutions more open and innovative that the emerging technologies offer in the network.
Social responsibility orients the policy of UNIR to ba-sic issues like:
• Make possible the access to university studiesfor every person who, with the previousadequate training, wants to do it and removecultural and social barriers as well as thoserelated to distance, timetables or place.
• Implement the teaching and researchingresources through the development of emergingtechnologies, in a way that it is possible to offerhigh quality training, paying particular attentionto those resources that the cultural, social andtechnical changes may demand.

Cómo llegar a LogroñoA Logroño se puede llegar en avión, en tren, en autobús o en transporte particular; siendo las principales carreteras la LO-20, la A-12, la A-11 y la Autopista AP-68, que comunica Logro-ño con Vitoria, Bilbao, Pamplona, San Sebastián, Zaragoza, Soria, Madrid y Barcelona.

Info sobre Logroño y AlojamientoLogroño es un municipio situado en el norte de España, capital de la comunidad autónoma y provincia de La Rioja. También es la localidad de mayor población —concentrando casi la mitad del total de la comunidad—, así como el centro económico, cultural y de servicios.
Bañada por el río Ebro, Logroño ha sido históricamente un lugar de paso y cruce de caminos, tales como el Camino de Santiago, y de fronteras, disputada entre los antiguos reinos de la península ibérica durante la Edad Media. En el último siglo, la ciudad ha experimentado un crecimiento demográfico lento pero significativo respecto a las poblaciones cercanas, provocado principalmente por los movimientos migratorios desde otras comarcas de la región. Ha sido la capital gastronómica española en 2012.

Info about Logroño and AccommodationLogroño is a municipality in the north of Spain and the capital city of the autonomous region and province of La Rioja. It is also the region's most populated town (almost half of region lives here) and its financial, cultural and service centre.
The River Ebro crosses Logroño and the town has historically been a place where paths cross, such as The Way of St. James. The town's borders have also beendisputed and were fought over by the ancient kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula during the Middle Ages. The town's population has increased slowly, but significantly, during the last century in comparison to neighbouring towns. This has mainly been due to the migration of people from other districts in the region. In 2012 it was the Spanish food capital.
