This version introduces and enables several key features and capabilities. NEC DT700 Series Phones

• Standard SIP firmware v2.0 adds the following new capabilities when used with the Sphericall system: o DT730 -8LD Desi-less model o Transport Layer Security for secure signaling o Secure RTP for secure audio / media o 802.1x for layer 2 authentication and access control o Electronic Hook Switch support with the Jabra 9470 pro series headsets o XML browser support with Sphericall Web Services applications including:

Polycom Endpoints

• Polycom video endpoints added to the interoperability list includes: o RMX1500 audio and video conferencing unit o HDX 6000, 8000 and 9000 video conferencing endpoints

NEC Meeting Center

• Audio Conferencing Application provides rich conferencing experience for demanding users o Support both reservation-less and reservation based audio conferences. o Customize each audio conference room per your requirements, e.g., select entry tones, select

memorable vanity PINs, turn recording on/off, select auto-call back on/off, select enter audio conference muted on/off etc.

o Schedule recurring audio conferences via the Web Portal. Use Microsoft Outlook iCalendar application to send invitations to desired participants.

o See real time view of a running audio conference via Web Portal. Participants can be seen by name or by caller ID.

o Display loudest speaker. Allows the identification and muting of a participant who may be inadvertently injecting noise into the audio conference.

o Exercise multiple in-conference controls via phone key presses or the Web portal.

o Merge two or more audio conferences into one without dropping any calls. Transfer participants between conferences.

o Send a detailed end of conference summary report to the moderator after a given audio conference is over.

o Forward usage data and associated CDRs to an external billing system via TCP/IP based interface. • Group Alerting Application is designed to send multi-modal messages to thousands of people during emergency

and non-emergency situations o Select communications medium to be used for message delivery (Voice only, Email only, Voice and SMS,

etc.) o Use built-in ’Find-you’ capability to increase the probability of delivering a message. o Send caller-ID of your choice that can be used by cell phones to display associated ’caller name’ (e.g.,

Security Alert’) - leading to higher percentage of people picking up a message. o Control the speed of dialing out. o Display real time call activity and a progress bar on a Web Portal. o Abandon a Group Alert in progress via web portal or through DTMF. o Provide summary and detailed reports on call completions (Busy, No Answer, Answering machine etc.)

• Web Conferencing Application is designed to significantly boost the productivity of your meetings o Web based application, no software download required to your PC.

o Designed to run across the Internet or a private data network without requiring any changes to firewalls. Running behind a secure private data network insures that your web conference content cannot be compromised.

o Can be used standalone or in conjunction with NEC MEETING CENTER Audio Conferencing application. When used together participants can collaborate in real time and achieve desired end result quickly without exchanging multiple emails.
