IDENTITY FORM UNIVERSITY PROFILE Université de Lorraine Richly diverse through its disciplines, Université de Lorraine pursues a wide range of international activities: in- and outbound student exchanges (1,500 Lorraine students spend a part of their curriculum abroad, and 15% from a hundred different countries); degree programs offered jointly with other institutions (including several Erasmus Mundus master’s programs). The university is a major force in the economic and social development of the region. With ve centuries of history, Université de Lorraine is also a pioneer in the collaboration between arts, technologies, and industry, as embodied today in innovative projects such as ARTEM, the Institut Jean Lamour, the Institut Lafayette, and the Biopôle, among others.  Main programmes of study Université de Lorraine has 53 components academic departments, schools of engineering, and institutes. Université de Lorraine
