Toczylowski was born on Aug. 26, 1975. His parents are Philip and Margaret Toczylowski and he is the brother of Pamela. Jeffrey lived with his family in Upper Moreland and was a graduate of Archbishop Wood High School. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1995 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Valley Forge Military College in Valley Forge, Pa, and later received his degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University in 1997. His first assignment was as a Platoon Leader with the 554th Military Police Company in Vaihingen, Germany, and was later deployed to Bosnia in support of Task Force Eagle. In 2000, he started a three year stint as a Force Protection Officer at Special Operations Command Europe in Stuttgart, Germany. After completion of the Special Forces Qualification Course in 2003, he was assigned to 1st Battalion, 10th SFG, as an SF Detachment Commander. While valiantly serving his country in Iraq, Maj. Jeffrey P. Toczylowski passed away from his injuries sustained during a combat infiltration on Nov. 3, 2005. Off-street parking is available at the school.
