RuBee VISIBILITY

RuBee Solves an Important Part of The PuzzleWith an integrated wireless visibility solution that works

in harsh environments through water and on steel.

How Does RuBee Solve The Puzzle ?With a new disruptive USA developed wireless technology

Confidential 8

RuBee VISIBILITYRuBee does not use radio signals, it uses magnetic signals that work on steel, near steel and underwater.

RuBee is Human Safe and Intrinsically Safe

RuBee is the only wireless technology approved by US Government for use in High Security facilities.

RuBee tags can be thin, small, use a coin size battery with a life of up to 20 years

RuBee tags have ranges of 1-50 feet, and antennas produce volumetric reading areas, not line-of-sight.

IEEE 1902.1RuBee is an IEEE standard that guarantees open systems longevity

• IEEE 1902.1 is the first international standard designed specifically for wireless visibility networks, in secure, harsh environments (near steel and water).

• IEEE 1902.1 was unanimously approved by IEEE corporate membership as a standard Jan. 2009.

• IEEE 1902.1 was supported by Motorola, General Electric, General Motors, LG Electronics, Nokia, Microsoft, Sig Sauer, Epson/Seiko, Visible Assets, Inc. and many smaller companies.

RuBee Wireless Visibility SystemsRuBee Visibility Networks provide real-time location, sensor, environmental status, and movement data for most mission critical assets and mission critical personnel. RuBee is not RFID and is based on a new and improved magnetic wireless technology. RuBee is highly secure, with no eavesdropping risk, no target risk, no known EMI or EMC risk. Unlike RFID, RuBee works in harsh environments, through water and on steel. It is in use in Hospitals, Armories, Mobile Vans, Secure DoE Sites.

AEVIN – Arms and Equipment Visibility Network

14

With Sig Sauer as a partner, we have created a real-time arms visibility network for weapons, mission critical equipment and people. It includes high security RuBee tags placed in the weapon, ID cards, and asset tags on mission critical equipment. The tags provide full real time physical inventory in an armory, during shipping, and in vehicles, yet the RuBee tag can not be used as a target by the enemy outside the armory.

RuBee Tags are rugged, and built into the weapon, usually the grip. Tags meet MIL-STD-810G (Salt spray, submerged 66’ of water, 23 solvents, etc.), and must survive 20,000 rounds endurance testing. Tags are also tested on a shock machine (1,000 G’s @ 1 msec for 20,000 shocks).

Tag Still Working

RuBee Tags are tough and meet MIL-STD-810G (Temp @ -50C).

I believe these numbers are a severe underestimate of the total costs because it reflects only 'direct' cost (at $50/hr per USAF estimated standard cost) for actual tool search. I'll bet the other costs for overhead, staff time, paperwork, etc., is as high, or higher.

TAVIN was designed ground up to minimize waste, and prevent FOD, based on a new US developed, disruptive visibility technology RuBee, an international standard (IEEE 1902.1).

TAVIN has a high ROI based on waste reduction that can not be achieved by fixed location TAS systems, or manual TAS systems, and manages non-tool assets, including oil rags, headsets, manuals, and launch kits.

TAVIN has the potential to decrease aircraft turnaround time, and increase number of sorties per day per aircraft and provide world wide real-time, tool mobility and tool visibility through ECSS

TAVIN will be implemented and maintained by companies that are known for expertise in the US Air Force Expeditionary Combat Support System (Oracle), and in Air Force Kaizen training and lean 5S process optimization and Tool Management (Danaher).
