In late 2019, we decided to take our market leading innovative approach to personal protection to the soft armor market. Our goal was not to bring you another “me to” armor package in another “copy cat” carrier, but to differentiate our offering so that we add value to our customers’ missions. Enter the concept of Mass Customization. We developed a system that could be customized to meet each agency’s and each operator’s unique requirements, while at the same time maintaining the cost effectiveness of mass produced goods. This was accomplished through the introduction of interchangeable components, features and accessories that fit and integrate throughout all vest models. The result was the birth of the UPT Armor Series. This unique series is uniform in its design yet customizable throughout it’s 5 basic design options. Each model is interconnected and interrelated while maintaining the ability to deliver on different mission objectives. The series consists of 5 basic vest models whose features and benefits can be added and subtracted between the models allowing the end user to select the best off all worlds for their final design. ARK - TV The ARK Tactical Line of vests is our latest design in specialized tactical protection. The ARK-TV was developed in conjunction with end user feedback and goal for maximum protection, modularity and maneuverability. Our team developed a carrier that has exceeded expectations. Based on the SPEAR/BALCS cut, we have built a vest line that maximizes protection, functionality and wearability.

This vest features our unique “Y” internal vent system for cooling along with our high-performance cooling mesh. Additional features such as upgradeable removable shoulder straps, G-Hook ladder adjustment system, front and rear top loading plate pockets (multi sized), split kangaroo flap, L & R mic tabs, wire routing, upgradeable MOLLE cummerbunds with pocket, etc. are part of this leading design. This vest also has an optional QUICK RELEASE system. This system is a quick, simple and effective 4-point back release system, that provides an instant release with the pull of an ambidextrous strap and is able to be re-assembled in less that 2 minutes.

InteroperabilityThe UPT Armor Series line allows for interoperability between the entire line of overt patrol carriers and tactical vests. This allows end users to swap parts and pieces (pocket placards, cummerbund options, shoulder straps, MOLLE flaps etc.) between all configurations. Ballistic AccessoriesAll ballistic (listed below) and non-ballistic accessories are attached to our vests using our unique “G-Hook” MOLLE attachment system (pictured below), allowing for quick adjustment on the fly, flat low profile design and a sturdy attachment of the accessories to the vest.
