What is our brand?A brand is a compilation of words, images and entire experiences. It's the "feeling" you imagine when you think of an institution, company, or in this case a church.

Saint Paul United Methodist Church has a deep history and an exciting future that is rich in worship and community. This brand guide shares how we visually communicate our messages to our fellow church community, the Lincoln community and ultimately the world.

The guidelines outlined in this book are standards that should assist all staff, volunteers, and other church leaders to effectively communicate our mission and vision.

Logo IconOur vision is expressed through our new logo. The initials for Saint Paul, SP, weave together forming an infinity symbol which reflects the infinite God which holds all of us together as one. The colors allude to the flame image of God’s Spirit, Divine Energy, enlivening our days. They also harken to the flames of the United Methodist Church. The colors are reflective of our historic building which honors our strong tradition while moving us towards God’s future.

PrimaryLogoThe Saint Paul United Methodist Church logo is comprised of the logo icon and the wordmark. This is the prefered logo and should be used as often as possible.

Secondary (stacked) Logo

Lock-upsThese lock-ups are the only way the logo should be displayed. The primary logo is the preffered logo and should be used as often as possible.

If there is not room for the primary lock-up, the secondary (stacked) lock-up may be used.

Logo ColorThese lock-ups are the only way the logo should be displayed. The primary color is the preffered logo and should be used as often as possible.

There are other logo color options when circumstanses allow for single color or black and white.

The logo can be placed on a black/dark background and will need to be inverted in color as seen here.

ColorPaletteThe core colorpalette is small and simple in order to keep the brand consistent. When necessary, the secondary color palette can be used for contrast.

TypographyMontserrat is a simple sans-serif font. This font family has 10 different weights, making it versitile and easy to use across multiple platforms. This is the primary font and should be used as often as possible.
