Acceptance Address of

Sir N~'B~III Most Eminent Grand Commander -----~ ----

Giving honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from whom all blessing flow, to the Honorable Sir Melvin A. Alston, Sr. Most Worshipful Grand Master of the State of Pennsylvania, Right Eminent Deputy Grand Commander, Eminent Grand Generalissimo, Eminent Grand Captain General, Eminent Grand Prelate, Eminent Grand Senior and Junior Wardens, Past Most Eminent Grand Com­manders, Past Eminent Grand Commanders, Appointed Grand Commandery Officers and Sir Knights All, Greetings:

Sir Knights, I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing r do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth, unto those things which are before me. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 13-14

Let us Pray: Most Wise and Holy Father I place my hands in your hands asking for wisdom, strength, mercy and grace in ordering my steps during this administration. I stand here humble and commit myself to this Victorious, Exceptional, and Magnanimous United Grand Commandery of Pennsylvania . Thank you for bestowing this prestigious position upon me, and elevating me to higher heights in this journey. Heavenly father please wrap your loving arms around every Officer and member in this room. Bless those who wanted to be present and could not be presence. Father touch our sick and bereaved families where so ever disbursed around the Globe.

Continue to Bless our Most Worshipful Grand Master and his Officers, Bless our Cyrene Sisters. God, I thank you for this day! We pray this prayer in the Blessed Name of JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD and SAVIORl Amen, Amen, Amen!

My heart is over joyed and filled with gladness as I stand before you in humble­ness! Thank you for having the desire to elect me as your Most Eminent Grand Commander for the ensuing year. I accept this leadership opportunity with integrity, pride and God's continuous Blessings.

Congratulations to all elected and appointed officers for this administration. United AS ONE we will continue to move our United Grand Commandery to a higher calling! I look forward to recruiting, reclaiming and retaining our membership.

Sir Knights, James M. Thornton Ijames Sheppard Jr. Education Fund is our Charity. Helping deserving students with educational book stipends is a priority in this administration. Training and Drill instructions will be scheduled on a monthly basis at our EDC School the first Saturday at noon. Please govern yourselves accordingly.

I'm truly blessed and excited to be in this position its been a long journey. I did not travel this journey alone so it gives me Great Privilege and Honor to publicly acknowledge All those who supported me along the way. Thank you! Thank You!

Special Thanks to P.M.E.G.C. Walter J. Sims Jr. for providing me with my first nomination on August 2008 numerous years ago. My sincere thanks to P.E.C. George M. Howard for his guidance along my masonic journey. Thanks to my Advisor P.M.E.G.C. Antione Small for his encouragement and faithful help . Past Grand Eminent Commander Ronald Barber we thank you for your leadership, friendship and support to our United Grand Commandery.

PMEGC & PEGC's I look forward to working closely with you and always welcome your continuous Support, Wisdom} Strength and Beauty! Please know I will seek your guidance.

My enthusiasm for serving our 225 members is overwhelming, increasing our membership with zeal is our goal! "No Man Is an Island" Working together loving one another and helping each other is our claim.
