common situation of a runny nose, a headache, a sore throat and coughs. Colds do not include stomach sickness. When colds do include stomach sickness, it is called influenza or flu. A person can have any sort of disease or condition, for example have a cold or have a broken leg, however, catch can be used only for infectious diseases such as colds, pneumonia and tuberculosis.

“Excuse me.” In British English, you say (I’m) sorry to a person if you accidentally touch them, or get in their way (for example, if you step on someone’s toes). When apologizing for something that the hearer does not know about or does not remember, the speaker needs to explain what has happened, or to remind the hearer of the situation.
