Unit 7We’re going to start getting past just one or two chords this week

and start looking at my process for working out entire songs,

melodies and where to apply melodic bebop ideas. We’re looking at

“Love for sale” from the Miles Davis album “The ’58 sessions”. I’ve

never even played this song before, never mind transcribe bass lines

or solos from it, and I’m getting stuck into it in this lesson figuring

out the harmony with you guys and starting the journey into

uncovering everything we possibly can about it.
