The Difference Game Materials

– 4 decks of cards number 1- 10

– 40 pennies One player shuffles the number cards and places them with the

numbers facedown in a stack on the playing surface. The other player puts 40 pennies in the bank.

To play a round, each player takes one card from the top of the deck. Players take the number of pennies from the bank as shown on their cards.

Players compare pennies. Players should pair as many pennies as they can.

The player with more pennies gets to keep the extra pennies. The paired pennies go back in the bank.

The game is over when there are not enough pennies in the bank to play another round. The player who has more pennies wins the game.
