Purpose of this assignment

From this unit the learner will:

be able to recommend computer systems for a business purpose

Scenario

HazelWare are a local small business who sell computer hardware and software. They would like to

set up an online shop.

You are to recommend a suitable hardware and software configuration for HazelWare.

Task 1Produce a report that recommends a computer system for HazelWare. The choice of components shouldbe briefly explained and make reference to all the user requirements. It is important that the finalspecification includes all the necessary hardware and software components for the system to work.

Task 2Write a covering letter to accompany your report to HazelWare that justifies why the system set uprecommended was chosen, e.g. cost, and suggest alternative set ups (at least one) and discuss why theycould also be appropriate. The reasons for the choices should be clearly explained and referenced to theuser need. Any optional extras must be justified
