UNIT 1 REFLEXION In unit 1, we had to interview a student, we asked him many questions about his English level and how he managed the language. This was very useful because we could know a little more about his favorite activities, his way of getting knowledge, favorite subjects, grammar and vocabulary mistakes and all this was information to plan suitable activities for him with the purpose of making an easy learning, always paying attention to the student’s learning style. Why it is important to plan and use strategies? It is important because every learner have a different way of learning and different needs, some students know vocabulary while other do not, some students are good at grammar while others are good at speaking and social activities, and planning activities which engage students and could help them to develop their weakest skills. I learnt in this unit that Strategies are steps or actions that facilitate the internalization of the new language, thus strategies are flexible and task oriented, are good tools for teachers and learners, and as I said, it is important to analyze students’ learning style, and plan strategies for them, which can vary depending on the context and we can modify them for a better learning. UNIT 1 REFLEXION

In unit 1, we had to interview a student, we asked him many questions about his

English level and how he managed the language. This was very useful because we could know

a little more about his favorite activities, his way of getting knowledge, favorite subjects,

grammar and vocabulary mistakes and all this was information to plan suitable activities for

him with the purpose of making an easy learning, always paying attention to the student’s

learning style.

Why it is important to plan and use strategies? It is important because every learner

have a different way of learning and different needs, some students know vocabulary while

other do not, some students are good at grammar while others are good at speaking and social

activities, and planning activities which engage students and could help them to develop their

weakest skills. I learnt in this unit that Strategies are steps or actions that facilitate the

internalization of the new language, thus strategies are flexible and task oriented, are good

tools for teachers and learners, and as I said, it is important to analyze students’ learning style,

and plan strategies for them, which can vary depending on the context and we can modify

them for a better learning.
