Unit 1 GC 1: Know about Research Methods and Techniques

What research methods did you use when completing the Advertising Assignment in year 11? (e.g. primary, secondary, qualitative, quantitative)

For primary research I have not done much, for example I haven’t done any questionnaires. Most of my work has come from secondary research, I have looked at blogs via the internet and found out what people like their deodorants t be like, for our advertising campaign. I used a lot of quantitative research as a guideline, for example during our presentation I took on constructive criticism and worked on my adverts.I did not use qualitative research.

What research techniques did you use when completing the Advertising Assignment in year 11? (e.g. using the library, the internet, watching videos?, reading info, recces?)

For my advertisement project, I used the internet for blogs to retrieve information, I also watched videos on Google.

How did you collate, store and use the information trail? (e.g. did you book mark key websites? Keep a list of websites used? Print off info for your folders?)

I used blogger to keep an eye on my work, I store everything in my documents, which can be found in BTEC media
