but when he got to Hope Academy, he began to flourish. His grades now consist of A’s, B’s, and C’s, and we are so proud of him! We appreciate the wonderful staff of teachers and administrators who are there to

OUR MISSION

FOR EVERY STUDENT,FOR EVERY CHALLENGE,

THERE IS HOPE.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Provide the highest level of education

possible for students with developmental

or learning disabilities.

Students deserve the opportunity to learn,

and develop, to their fullest potential.

Greater Baton Rouge Hope Academy, Inc.

admits students without discrimination

based on race, color, nationality or ethnic

origin, to all the rights, privileges,

programs and activities available at the

school, including the administration of

educational and admission policies, as

well as scholarship, loan, athletic and

other school-administered programs.

At Hope Academy, we understand each student is different, with individual needs, strengths and interests both within and beyond the classroom.

In a sensitive, compassionate and nurturing environment, we offer unique solutions to help each student advance academically, socially and emotionally.

We understand and accept their challenges.

We focus on their strengths and capabilities.

And we acquire and utilize learning skills to enhance and enrich their lives.

Founded in 2007, Greater Baton Rouge Hope Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Trustees.

Our ultimate goal is to offer a curriculum to fit your child’s unique, individual needs.

We begin with The Diagnostic-Prescriptive approach: Thorough testing of your child, with test results used to identify the specific areas of learning deficiencies.

Once identified, individual “Learning Paths” are designed to help overcome these deficiencies, establish academic, social and behavioral objectives, and create time lines to achieve short- and long-term goals.

“Hope Academy has helped our son with autism make tremendous progress in all areas of his life including academics, social skills,

self-discipline and self-confidence. The administration and staff treat him with respect and kindness while challenging him to work to his full

potential. The school has been a tremendous blessing to our family.”

- jan chiles, parent
