The beauty and serenity of Denver Botanic Gardens offer a unique opportunity to pay tribute to a loved one, commem- orate a life milestone, or honor a friend. Various tribute opportunities exist.
Whether it’s a special message engraved on a paver in our Romantic Garden or a bench nestled into the perfect spot in the Gardens, tributes recognize all the important occasions that fill our lives:
• Birthdays
• Marriages
• Anniversaries
• Graduations
• Retirements
• Final memorials
At your request, we will send a personalized acknowledgment of your tribute gift to the recipient of your choice, without reference to the amount of the gift.
* Our benches, trees and Celebration Gardens have limited dedication opportunities. To learn more about these options please call 720-865-3528 or email [email protected].
* Due to the changing nature of our landscape and the effect of the elements, dedications may experience various degrees of weathering and wear. Benches are not stained or sealed.
* The length of a dedication is 10 years. Red Paver dedication length is 5 years. During these years the Gardens will repair or replace your tribute item as needed. After 10 years (5 for red pavers), if the condition of the item does not meet the Gardens’ standards, or the item must be removed, the donor will be contacted and given the opportunity to make an additional contribution to re-dedicate the item for an additional 10 years.
^ A champion tree is the largest tree of each species or cultivar, determined by measure of the tree’s spread, height and trunk circumference.
$500 Red Paver $1,000 Bronze Paver
Your paver will be inscribed with your personalized message and placed in the beautiful and contemplative Romantic Garden.
$250 Small Garden $500 Large Garden
Our Celebration Gardens take the idea of a traditional bouquet of flowers to the next level. Your garden will be planted with beautiful annuals in the spring and turned over in the fall. These dedications are for one growing season, approximately May to September.
$10,000 Teak Bench
Our dedicated benches offer thoughtful resting places to reflect and remember. A bronze plaque inscribed with your personalized message will be placed on the backrest of the bench. Plaques can contain 3 lines of text, up to 20 characters each. Locations for benches are limited.

You can pay tribute with a unique and special tree. Each dedicated tree will include a bronze plaque inscribed with your personalized message of up to 4 lines, 20 characters each and set in limestone and placed adjacent to the tree.
