Read-A-ThonOur fall Read-A-thon fundraiser was a great success! Students read and tracked a total of 14,448 minutes and raised $819.25! Great job UES students!

All students who read over 500 minutes had their name put in a drawing for a Kindle Fire. The winners of the Kindle Fires were: Lauren Lorentzen, Alice LaPorte, Adrianna Roman, and Charlotte Johnson.

Parking Lot Safety

The parking lot at UES is a busy and dangerous place. It is important that we all take extra care to be safe in the parking lot. It is important that we remind our children to look both ways and walk while in the parking lot. Also, everyone needs to be aware of the busses; always walk in front of the bus and be sure to be far enough away from the bus so the driver can see you. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe at drop off and dismissal.

Union Elementary School is sponsoring a fundraiser to raise important funds for the benefit of our children and community. Uncle Jerry’s T’s was selected for their wide variety of top quality products and commitment to customer satisfaction. Please help make our sale a success; we appreciate your help and cooperation. Sale starts today and order forms and money are due on Wednesday, November 28th.

Orders will be ready for pick up the first week of December – just in time for the holidays!

School Spirit Friday, November 9thStudents and staff are encouraged to wear red, white and blue next Friday. We will all be in the hall to cheer for the Veterans after their lunch.
