An excellent liberal arts college in the outskirts of New York City, Union College caught my attention with its insightful Computer Science major that can be combined with a minor in Nano Technology. Moreover, the opportunity of studying in a small and efficient class size with a highly dedicated faculty only makes me a lot more enthusiastic about studying at Union College. Also, research opportunities in state-of-the-art laboratories will allow me to exercise and expand my intellectual horizons, while the study abroad programs at Union College will allow me to widen my perspective and better appreciate different people and their diverse culture.Apart from the splendid possibility of a high quality liberal arts education supplemented with a minor in Nano Technology, student organizations like 'Habitat for Humanity' and 'Yoga and Mindfulness' is another key reason I am applying to Union College.
