Uni-Aire is a leading Thai-owned producer of air conditioners which first launched its business in 1972. Uniaire has remained fully committed to continuously improving the quality of its products and in this, our 40th year of operations, we are strong, confident and well-prepared to continue to move forward. This year, all of us at Uni-Aire are making every effort to implement plans to produce and supply a range of new products for both domestic and export markets.

Vision

15 November 1972 “Uni–Aire”, the Thai Air–Conditioner Manufacturing Company was established. The company started by producing various parts for air- conditioners, such as condenser coils, evaporator coils and water–cooling condensers, as substitutes for imported products being supplied to air-conditioner manufactur-ers in Thailand.

1975 Uni-Aire consolidated its business by selling air conditioners with capacities from 1-ton to 40-tons for the domestic market. These first-class air-conditioning products quickly became very popular with consumers.

1978 Uni-Aire succeeed in producing large-scale water-cooling systems with a capacity of more than 100-tons for industrial factories.

1979 Uni-Aire became known in the world market in more than 70 countries worldwide, including Australia, Morocco, South Africa, U.S.A., Switzerland, Italy, etc.

1985 Uni-Aire produced water-cooled chillers for 300-ton air-conditioners for hotels in China.

1986 Factory relocated from Sathupradit Road to Bang-Plee, Samutprakarn province and expanded its manufacturing base to 5,000 sq. m.

1990 The size of the factory was doubled to support local businesses and exports, which were expanding quickly.

1996 Received the “PRIME MINISTER’S EXPORT AWARD 1996” from the Prime Minister. This award emphasized Uni-Aire’s capacity and the spirit of Uni-Aire as a company.

1997 Produced a 500-ton air-cooled chiller system for Manila International Airport in the Philippines. Uni-Aire also invested in research and development by building a “Calorimeter Test Room”

1999 Received ISO 9002 quality standard certification. 2001 Emphasized the development of environmentally-

friendly products.2004 Exported large water-cooled chiller systems to the

Middle East region.2006 Received ISO14001 quality standard certification.2008 Received TIS 18001 and OHSAS 18001 quality standard

certifications. Also supplied large dehumidifier part (Heat Pipe) for new Government Center Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road.

ment, to produc-tion and installa-tion for a wide variety of buildings. Uni-Aire has con-

tinuously stayed at the cutting edge of technol-ogy development and production to ensure that Uni-Aire air-conditioners display the highest quality and meet the most stringent demands of both domestic and international consum-ers. The company uses the best technology in the world at each step of the production, with expert supervision of skilled technicians. Many inspection and monitoring steps are required to be fulfilled to ensure standardized production. To further enhance product quality, the company has invested in a Research and Development building - the “Calorimeter Test Room” – which ensures only the highest quality products are delivered to our many consumers.

Production stays abreast of techno-logical development in order to achieve, maintain and improve the quality and standards of products and designs. The Production Department has a wide variety of responsibilities, ranging from producing parts, components and coil boards to the processes of cutting, folding and body spraying.

Quality Assurance implements systems to ensure dependability and performance in the manufacturing process at each stage of production. Pre-production involves the inspection of raw materials and loose components, while major components undergo a variety of tests and inspections during production. Post-production quality controls are also implemented before any products are delivered to customers - as complete customer satisfac-tion is our constant goal.
