Learn to make a loom out of an old bike wheel rim and weave in the round.

You'll create a unique weaving full of color and texture that you can make into a pillow or cushion, a little floor rug, or

a lovely wall hanging. You'll be instructed on how to weave, create fringe,

pom poms and tassels, and how to finish off your weaving.

Rubber Stamp MakingSat, March 28 11am

Learn the process of carving your own rubber stamp and leave with a finished stamp to begin to use for your business, logo, card making, and more! You’ll bring your own 4x6 sized image or use one of

Sashiko Mending: Making Mends Beautiful

Thurs, April 2 6pmSashiko is a traditional Japanese method

of functional embroidery. Learn to reinforcepoints of wear or add patches to holes to

beautify items of clothing. Bring your own item or two to mend, reinforce,

or embellish. You’ll get to takehome the tools you’ll need

to keep up this skill!

Shoe ShiningThurs, April 9 6pm

Led by a shoe shining professional from downtown you’ll learn the

process to shine up your leather shoes to perfection. Bring your own or come to watch. Polishand brushes will be available

for purchase to continue on at home!

Wood Blocked Printed Jersey Scarf

Block printed textiles are an age old tradition in India and many other parts of

the world. Instructor Chelsea visited atextiles block printing studio while in Indiaand was honored to learn from a master

printer and take home some wood blocks. Using these antique hand-carved wood blocks you’ll createthe comfiest scarf on the planet,

perfect for spring - choosing a scarf or cowl.

Laundry EssentialsThurs, April 16 6pm

For dimes on the dollar you can learn to create your own all

natural laundry detergent that works better than big brands and

smells like nature. You’ll felt your own dryer balls of

natural wool, too!

Macrame Hanging Planter

Thurs, April 23 6pmGrandma, you were right. Macrame

is hip again. Make a bohemian statement piece while learning basic macrame knots. You’ll leave with a

hanging planter and potted succulent, ready to hang

at home.

At-home Coffee Roasting+ DonutsThurs, April 30 6pm

Did you know you can roast your own coffee at home? All it takes is some green

beans, a heat source, and some know-how to brew the freshest coffee every morning! Learn a few methods of at-home roasting and you’ll leave with a half-pound of your

own custom roast. We’ll review our favorite grinding and brewing

methods and enjoy Sandy’s donuts!
