The high aesthetic appeal of decorated Vboard can replace other substitutes like particle boards and wood based materials.

manufacturingVboard is Non Asbestos, autoclaved product. These fibre cement boards are manufactured by Hatschek process; later the product is cured using HPSC technology. The curing is done under high pressure steam to attain strength and stability to the product. Vboard are composed of a composite matrix containing special grade cellulose fibres, ordinary Portland cement, fine silica, quartz, and some mineral additives.

Vboard are manufactured to meet the requirements of IS 14862:2000. They are available in standard dimensions with smooth and textured finishes to meet the requirements of modern building applications.

DoorsDoors can be constructed using our Vboard, along with PVC or Aluminium lipping for protection, with hinges and handles fixed by nuts and bolts. There are two types of doors - Flush door - which is a full door, designed washrooms and has rural applications, and Panel door- which has a board inserted at the top and at the bottom, designed for toilets and has urban applications.

toolsThe simple working method of Vboard is as easy as working with any other plywood or particle board and you can hardly find any difference – fastening is done much like any other board and no special tools are needed to do the same.

nails8mm Vboard can be directly nailed to timber supports with round wire nails. Apilot hole must be pre-drilled for boards with over 8mm thickness. The length of the nail should be approximately be 2.5 to 3 times of the board used.

frame workSteel supports can be used to fix Vboard and thin cold roll formed steel sections in the form of studs and tracks are available in the market that can ideally be used for applications like partitions, false ceilings, floors etc.

bindingVboard has an alkalinity pH value 11 to 13. So alkaline resistant glues or adhesives are to be used for binding the board. Please refer to adhesives manufacture’s specifications.

lamination and veneerVboard can be laminated or veneered by using PVA binder (ex.white fevicol)

jointingSlight dimensional changes might occur due to shifting temperatures and relative humidity in air to Vboard and therefore a provision should be made in the joint by allowing a gap of 2 to 3mm.

paintingAlmost all kinds of paints can be applied on Vboard – distempers, acrylic resins, acrylic emulsions, epoxy systems polyurethanes and any other alkali resistant paint.

tilingReady to use tile adhesives are used to fix the wall and floor tiles to Vboard. All reputed brands like Dr.Fixit, Ardexendura, Laticrete etc.

manufacturing &aesthetics Vpanel are manufactured by Visaka industries limited with technical know-how from M/s Dantotec, Australia .These panels are manufactured at asbestos free manufacturing unit located at Miryalguda, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Vpanel are manufactured using a unique technology by which the asbestos free fibre cement facing sheets and the cementious core are bonded to form a composite panel with an excellent bonding strength. The unique semi-circular tongue and groove makes installation of Vpanel very easy.
