    Understanding Your Uniqueness

    Dear Reader,

I welcome you to the month of October . I see you being outstanding inevery facet of your life this month in Jesus’ name!

This month, I shall be teaching on Understanding Your Uniqueness.

It is important for you to know that every thing about God is unique !e

e"cels in varieties. There are no two persons who are e"actly alike. #n

understanding of your uniqueness will help you to be a greater blessing to

    others.

This week, I want to start by sharing on the Creation Of Male And Female

    Genders!

$en and women are unique in their own different make%up. &ne star is

different from another in glory. God's (ord says) So God created man in

his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female

created he them (Genesis 1:". God created them male and female.

It is clearly stated in the above verse of scripture that the man and womanare unique, even from creation. That is, you are not an afterthought of

God's creation, and this will make you get e"cited, happy and *oyful. Don't

feel inferior about your uniqueness. If you are a man, God has a purpose

for creating you the way you are. God equally has a purpose for making

you the person you are, so get e"cited+

The purpose behind God's creation of man is to receive love. God's (ord

tells us that God is love (# $o%n &:' 1)". rom this scripture, it means that

God doesn't *ust give or show love, !e is love. !e desires to share !is lovewith us because love is !is essential quality. God's (ord says)

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed uon us, that we

should be called the sons of God therefore the world "noweth us not,

because it "new him not (1 $o%n *:1".

(hen God said, #et us ma"e man in our image, in our li"eness (Genesis

1:)", !e was saying, in essence, $#et us ma"e someone to love, and call

that creature %man’&'  God wanted man to be the ob*ect of !is love, and that

is why +e made man in +is o,n image and li-eness. Therefore, in the

creation of man, God drew man out of !imself, so that the essence of manwould be *ust like !im.

#mong God's creations, man is the only being that is like !im. That is to

say, man is so unique. $an is a spirit and spirit has no gender. The -ible

never talks about a male and female spirit, so God created the spirit%man

without gender. God refer to male and female as man/.

God took the spirit –man, and He placed him in two physical forms

and He called them male and female. God’s Word says: So God

    created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;

male and female created he them (Genesis :!"#.

Therefore, for God to fulfill !is eternal purposes, !e used two physical

forms, called male and female, to e"press the one entity of man. (hen

God speaks to humanity, !e uses the term man. !e doesn't address male

or female unless !e is talking to individuals. God deals with the man inside

us because God is a spirit, and !is worshipers must worship in spirit and intruth ($o%n &:&". It is important for you to know that we worship God with

our spirits, not with our gender. In God's programme, therefore, neither is

the spirit of the husband dependent on the wife or vice versa.

    The reation &f $ale Gender+

God gave the spirit%man dominion over a physical earth, !e gave him a

physical body to live and to function in the world and rule over it. God's

(ord says) #nd the /ord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and

breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living

soul (Genesis :". God formed a house from the dust of the ground and

made a house called male. Then God housed the spirit%man in the male.

Then !e put the male in the Garden of 0den so that the man could rule

over what !e has created (Genesis :' 10".

    The reation &f emale Gender+

urthermore, if God created man for the purpose of having a relationship of

love with !im and wants him to dominate over the world, what then

motivated God to make the female1 In Genesis :1, it is clearly statedthat, at first, only the spirit%man in the male gender is ruling in the garden.

(hen God created the male, !e could still give and receive love through

!is 2pirit however, because the man now had a physical body, he also

needed someone with whom to share human and physical love. God's

(ord says) (nd the #ord God said, It is not good that the man should be

alone; I will ma"e him an hel meet for him (Genesis :1'". rom this

scripture, note that even though the male gender had communion with

God, the male gender needed love.

2o, from creation, we see that God decidedly made the woman as a

complement of the man. !e made her to make a difference in the life of

#dam !e created her to spice up her world. #nimals were created for

man's en*oyment, and although they can give him some comfort, but they

cannot truly fulfil his need for love (Genesis :123".

!aving a full understanding of your uniqueness as an individual comes byacknowledging the &ne who created you who you are. 3ou can only

effectively acknowledge the person you know and not otherwise.

This week, I want to teach on Male And Female 4ifferences!

$ale and female were designed to e"ercise dominion over the earth. 0venthough both of them are equal, God created them to manifest in twodifferent bodies and with two different natures. God made !is products tofulfill their purpose. The male and female both have dominion each has toe"ecute its purpose in different manner. God's (ord says) )here is oneglory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of thestars for one star differeth from another star in glory  (1 Corint%ians10:&1".

$an and woman are both equal in the sense that they were both created inthe image of God and their differences are only functional. (hen Godmade the woman and presented her to #dam, he said, $)his is now* bone

of my bones'  In other words, #dam was saying, $)his erson is e+actly li"eme in structure&'  #gain, he said, $)his is now * flesh of my flesh'  (Genesis:*". That is, 56%e is e7actl8 li-e me in all %er 9%8sical qualities andin all of %er emotional and 9s8c%ological abilit8. #dam saw twodifferences. 5;e are t%e same ,e are equal he said, adding 5but t%ereare differences.

5ow, the ma*or difference between the man and the woman is that, thewoman has a womb and can bear children. The woman is designedprimarily as a receiver, and the man is designed primarily as a giver. This

means that the woman is created to receive love.

Despite the fact we all know that differences between men and womene"ist, most people have problems with this fact because they believe thatbeing 6different7 means being inferior or superior. 3ou should not equatebeing different to being less. I want you to know that a woman is not lessthan a man because she is a woman, and a man is not less than a womanbecause he is a man. Their differences, I believe, are necessary becauseof their purposes.

The following are some of male's mannerisms that make them differentfrom female)

beliefs and values I hold dear. (ithout respect, there can be no trueunderstanding of your uniqueness. (ithout respect, there can be no love.$en hold respect in high esteem and so, for the married, they want to berespected by their wives. They want to be reverenced and respected to thebest of your ability, after all, they are in the position as the head. This isstated clearly in God's (ord, #nd the wife see that she reverence herhusband (=9%esians 0:**".

To the wives, your husband may not be refined as you are, but to maintainpeace at home, you need to respect him. Respect allows you to acceptyour spouse's point of view wholeheartedly, consider and value hisperspectives or suggestions. Thus, let your partner know that your respectand value for him supersedes the specific issue you are discussing.

    Obedience!

$en admire obedience, and especially from their wives. 5o man getse"cited with an argumentative wife. It is important for you to know as awoman that your arguments can cause more trouble at home than good.3ou must learn to obey your husband, because he is the head of the home.(hatever you want to discuss with your husband, wisdom demands thatyou communicate and not in arguments. #rguments must be avoided by allmeans in your home, in order to en*oy peace rather than engaging inarguments, make use of spiritual weapons at your disposal. 5ever allow

any issue to degenerate into arguments, which can build up anger andgraduate to physical fight.

    Good Food!

There is no man who does not like good food, no matter how spiritual he is.Remember, the way to a man's heart is his stomach, and a hungry man isan angry man. $an needs physical food to survive. #s a woman, take outtime to study what food your husband really likes, what is good for him, and

cook it the way he likes it. (hen he is satisfied, his soul blesses you. Ifthere is any particular meal you don't know how to cook as a woman, forinstance, you should go and learn it and prepare it for him. God's (ordsays) (ho satisfieth thy mouth with good things (>salms 13*:0".

    Cleanliness!

    6/6

leanliness, they say, is ne"t to godliness. $en adore cleanliness. 5o manappreciates a dirty environment. Therefore, as a woman, you should learnto keep the home and the environment clean and tidy, free of any offensiveodour per time. 3our wardrobe and toilet need to be kept clean. 8ay theprice of cleanliness and you will en*oy a good atmosphere.
