Your PSU ACCESS Account: use for central Penn State resources ANGEL Wireless Computers in the buildings. Anytime you see this screen, you will
enter your Penn State Access user ID and password.
Remember: this is your new ACCESS
ID and not your FPS ID
If you forget your password, you will need to reset it at a signature station. We have a signature station in the Lewis Katz Building.

Your Penn State's Dickinson School of Law (DSL) account is SEPARATE from your Penn State Access Account
This account is only used for accessing Mediasite recordings within Angel.
If your forget your DSL password, only an IIT staff member can reset it. You must present your photo ID to have the account reset.
NEVER share your passwords with anyone. No member of IT will ever ask you for it.

Wireless internet is available across the entire campus, for most devices.
Depending on your operating system, you may need to install the Wireless client.
I IT is available to help you with the installation of this software, but if you wish to try it on your own, you may visit http://wireless.psu.edu/setup to download the Wireless client and/or instructions.

Here, and elsewhere on campus, you will typically see 3 wireless networks available: psu, psuwirelesssetup, and attwifi.

Open http://wireless.psu.edu/setup
Choose your Operating System, press “Submit”

After Installation, you will always want
to connect to the psu network.
The attwifi network is for visitors only.
Once you connect to the psu network, you will see a dialog asking you for your PSU ACCESS account password.
This will give you internet access.

You are allotted 110 pages at no charge. After 110 pages, additional pages can be purchased for 5 cents per sheet.
Internet Kiosks and printers are available in the Basement, Second Floor, Third Floor, and in various locations throughout the Library.
You log into these machines with your PSU ACCESS account.
Each printer has a label on it with its “print queue” name. When you print a document from a Lab or Kiosk, it will ask you where you want to print. Select the print queue name closest to you.

Angel is Penn State’s course management system. When accessing Angel, log in with your
PSU ACCESS account.
Visit https://cms.psu.edu/ to logon.
Once logged in you will see all the courses you are enrolled in or be able to find a course to enroll in.
If you choose to view a class recording, an additional logon screen will be presented for “Mediasite”. In this case you will want to enter your DSL password.

As a Penn State student you should familiarize yourself with Penn State’s computing policies, which can be found at http://www.psu.edu/dept/itscss/internet/UseTech.html and http://its.psu.edu/policies/ “Individuals are expected to exercise responsible, ethical behavior when using
the University's computers, information, networks or resources, and are expected to abide by University policies and local, state, and federal laws”.
Visit http://its.psu.edu/be-safe which gives excellent information on how to keep your computer safe while using the internet. It also provides a l ink to access free antivirus software while you are a student at Penn State.

Instructional and Informational Technology (IIT) Staff are available from 8-5 Monday through Friday.
