Alternative LoansPaying for higher education is a significant financial commitment. A variety of financial institutions offer private education loan products which can supplement other financial aid to help manage college costs. For information and options, visit FloridaTechOnline.com.

Parent PLUS LoansDependent undergraduate students may be eligible for a Parent PLUS Loan. Parent PLUS Loans are additional unsubsidized loans made out to the parents of dependent students to help the student pay for education expenses. Maximum eligibility is the cost of attendance minus all other financial assistance. If a parent applies and does not qualify for a Parent PLUS Loan, the student may receive additional unsubsidized Federal Direct (Stafford) Loans.

Federal Pell GrantsFederal Pell Grants are available to undergraduate students only. Grants do not have to be repaid. The maximum Pell Grant for the academic award year is $5,645.

Florida Resident Access GrantEstablished Florida residents are eligible to receive a $2,500 grant toward Florida Tech tuition.

Special Military PricingUndergraduate: Florida Tech is proud to offer a special rate of $250 per credit hour for Active Duty, Selected Reserves, National Guard servicemembers and their spouses. Veterans and their spouses, as well as dependents of deceased or disabled Veterans, are eligible for a 10% savings on undergraduate tuition rates.
