COURSE DESCRIPTION

I YEAR

SALES MANAGEMENT – 7 ECTS The purpose of Trade Management course is achieved by meeting three basic segments: education, meaning observation, understanding and memorizing teaching unit content as knowledge (in theoretical context) or skill/ability (in practical context) in trade operations; development, meaning the application of gained knowledge or skills/abilities to real situations or their upgrading (with study case analysis); and upbringing, meaning changing student personality and behavior as a result of gained knowledge and skills/abilities in sales operations. The main outcome of the course will be achieved through adoption of information connected to Sales Management. The specific outcome of the course is achieved through understanding and application of theory and practice of: a) planning system; b) organizing system; c) managing performance values; d) control system; and e) evaluation system – both within domestic and foreign context. EUROPEAN UNION LAW – 5 ECTS Introduction to the reasons of creating European Union as the most important economic and political integrative entity in the 20th century, both on European ground and in the world. Studying the law European Union is based on, accession requirements and structure, jurisdiction and organization of the most important European Union institutions – Commission, Council of Ministers, European Council, European Parliament and Court of Justice. INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY – 5 ECTS International monetary system. International investment. Global contemporary monetary situation. Free trade. Trade protection. Trade and economic growth. Future assumptions and perspectives. International trade policy: OPEC, International cartels. Trend factors. International human resource trends. Foreign direct investment and multi-nationality. ENGLISH LANGUAGE – Basic I – 5 ECTS Development of creative and practical abilities, and mastering practical communication skills in foreign language necessary for a future international manager - master. The aim of the Course has been adjusted to the basic tasks and goals of the Faculty of International Management. Ability to communicate and apply acquired theoretical knowledge in practice in multi-cultural environment. ITALIAN LANGUAGE – Basic I – 4 ECTS Mastering the basis of Italian language, i.e. development of Italian language structure elements at the beginners' level of communication skills. The ability to use Italian language with vocabulary and grammar adapted to real business situations. GERMAN LANGUAGE – Basic I – 4 ECTS The aim of this course is to integrate all linguistic skills to improve abilities to communicate in German language. German language takes an important place in communication in the world business environment. Because of that it is necessary for the future managers to start with intensive studying of German language as of the first year of studies.

ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR – 6 ECTS The aim of the course is to research the influence of individuals, groups and structure on organization behavior. Students will learn techniques and modern methods used in the area which they can apply later in order to increase organization efficiency and effectiveness. The focus is on Perception; Personality and Abilities; Motivation; Attitudes connected to work; Team Work; Communication; Organizational Structure and Design; Organizational Change; Stress Management. INFORMATICS – 6 ECTS It is a beginners’ course where students are introduced to the basics of computers and computer systems and sub-systems. In theory, the focus is on the way computer operates and its peripheries, in other words, hardware of both computer and its peripheries. Computer network will be studied only on the basic level. Special attention is paid to software with software historic development an user needs. The role and development of operational system and system software. Applicative software development and user need development. Practical teaching refers to the necessary computer literacy level and corresponding operation level in user applications, people need nowadays. Students will write a seminar paper that will verify the skills anticipated by the program. CORPORATE FINANCES – 5 ECTS Financial policy. Financial analysis. Financial flow statements and their design. Financial planning. Financial control. Organization of financial function. Fixed capital management. Investment management. Capital structure. Cost of capital. Dividend policies. General approach and social capital evaluation methods. Case studies from financial practice. Financial tables and parallel profit and loss balance sheet. ENGLISH LANGUAGE – Basic II– 5 ECTS Development of creative and practical abilities and mastering practical communication skills in foreign language necessary for international manager - master. The aim of the Course has been adjusted to the basic tasks and goals of Faculty of International Management. It envisages the creation of abilities to communicate and apply acquired theoretical knowledge in practice in multi-cultural environment. ITALIAN LANGUAGE - Basic II – 4 ECTS Mastering Italian language basics and introduction to the fundamentals of Italian culture and civilization. Active use of covered lexicology and grammatical structures, introduction to cultural and business environment of the country. GERMAN LANGUAGE – Basic II – 4 ECTS The aim of this course is to integrate all linguistic skills to improve abilities to communicate in German language. German language takes an important place in communication in the world business environment. Because of that it is necessary for the future managers of European business and marketing to start with intensive studying of German language as of the first year of studies.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

II YEAR

MANAGEMENT – 7 ECTS The purpose of the Course is to enable students to adopt and develop skills and abilities for solving concrete problems in management, using scientific methods and procedures and applying the knowledge in European and international business environment. Train students to apply techniques and contemporary methods used in the area and thus create human resources for leadership functions (in all forms). Management – Theory or Art. Management and Managers: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow; Management in the 21st century; Evolution of Management Theory; Planning in Contemporary Organization. Strategic Planning and Management; Strategy Implementation; Organizing Communication and Job Design; Leadership; Control; Each thematic area is illustrated by a number of short case studies. In addition, the program anticipates additional case studies, Seminar paper students have to write during the semester with the objective to develop their skills – primarily research and analytical ones. Student visits to trade fairs and exhibitions in order to gain some practical knowledge and experience. INTERNET AND E-BUSINESS – 6 ECTS Internet and E-business is a course conceived around Internet phenomenon present for almost two decades and with the large influence on civilization because communication way and speed have been improved. It includes all aspects of human doing, from job to culture and everyday life. The course will cover Internet origin and development, factors influencing its expansion, current situation and future assumptions; Internet technical aspect, its functioning, limits and opportunities and technological development directions. Then, the focus moves to its acceptance by business population and Internet technology integration into business processes. This leads to the term e-business that will eventually disappear because each business will include Internet technology and the term will become pleonasm. Special focus is on e-commerce that used to be considered e-business at the beginning, before the application depth of Internet technology was enlarged in business processes. In fact, it is about a very dynamic, interesting and actual field. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT – 6 ECTS The program studies basic concepts and functions necessary for human resource managers who have to make the best selection of future employees. The focus is on a number of functions needed in the human resource selection process. It includes: planning, job analysis, recruitment, selection, training, creation of job evaluation and compensation system and the concept of expatriates. The program aims at explaining the idea of human resource management principle and technique universality and its complexity. ENGLISH LANGUAGE – INTERMEDIATE I - 5 ECTS Development of creative and practical abilities and mastering of practical communication skills necessary to become international manager. The aim of the program is adjusted to the basic tasks and objectives of Faculty of International Management. Ability to communicate and apply the gained theoretical knowledge in practice in a multicultural environment. The English Course Curriculum – Intermediate 1 – includes professional texts and introduction to adequate terminology in trade management, international economy and competition law. Practical teaching includes

linguistic and communication exercices to test whether theoretical instructions have been mastered in an adequate way and with satisfactory results. ITALIAN LANGUAGE – INTERMEDIATE I - 4 ECTS Mastering the terminology in management. Writing Curriculum Vitae and Job Application in Italian Language. Adopting professional terms and phrases in written and oral language. Active use of adopted vocabulary and grammar structures. Thematic units included in the curriculum: Management, Human Resource Management, Business Culture, Types of Companies. Linguistic and grammar exercises. GERMAN LANGUAGE – INTERMEDIATE I - 4 ECTS The aim of the course is to integrate all linguistics skills to improve the ability of communicating in German language. German language has a very important place in the world business environment. Consequently, it is necessary for future managers of European business and marketing to learn German language intensively. To upgrade students ability to communicate on a large scale of business situations and to use professional references in German language. The following linguistic aspects will be improved: general understanding of texts, reading with searching for specific information, expanding the vocabulary and general written and oral communication in a business environment. HOTEL MANAGEMENT – 6 ECTS The purpose of International Hotel Management Course is achieved by meeting the three basic segments: educational, meaning perceptions, understanding and memorizing the content of a teaching unit as knowledge or a skill in international hotel management business operations; development, meaning the application of gained knowledge or skills to real situation or their upgrading (through Case Study logistics); and the third segment that implies a change of student personality and behavior resulting from gained knowledge and skills in international hotel management business operations. MANAGERIAL DECISION-MAKING – 6 ECTS The aim of the course is to introduce students to all relevant elements of decision making process, since decision is of crucial importance for business development and represents key point of management in which managers by combining scientific methods with their rational and intuitive actions make decion that leads to successful development of company and business in global. To enable students to adopt and develop the capacity of planning ,analysis,using of information,understanding and solving problems in business practice, and also to master the technical,humane and conceptual skills, to adopt leadership spirit and to develop creative ability in making and implementation of managerial decisions. To enable students to apply theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in making and implementation of efficient,rational and optimal managerial decisions in uncertain and risky environment of the market with the aim of development and optimization of company business activity. COMPETITION LAW – 5 ECTS The course EU Competition Law includes the studies of European Union competition law as one of the most developed sectors of European business law. Market economy, both on national and transnational levels, cannot survive in the absence of legal norms that provide free competition. Competition norms sanction illegal business acts that endanger other competitors, partners and consumers (anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominant market prosition, concentrations, etc.) European norms on competition are also essential for domestic market because they are a part of

European Union legal possessions that have to be included into national law after signing the Act on Stabilization and Association. The objective of the program is adjusted to the basic tasks and objectives of Faculty of International Management. It involves expanding communication abilities and application of gained theoretical knowledge in practice in a multicultural environment. III YEAR INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT – 8 ECTS The purpose of International Hotel Management Course is achieved by meeting the three basic segments: educational, meaning perceptions, understanding and memorizing the content of a teaching unit as knowledge or a skill in international hotel management business operations; development, meaning the application of gained knowledge or skills to real situation or their upgrading (through Case Study logistics); and the third segment that implies a change of student personality and behavior resulting from gained knowledge and skills in international hotel management business operations. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT – 8 ECTS The course Human resource Management Development studies the basic concepts and functions of human resource development in organizations and individual development of employees. The focus is on learning and training methods as a function of personnel development. Identification of learning needs as well as planning and design of learning, training and development and its performance. An important aspect of human resource development is appraisal, i.e. evaluation of learning and training as well as methods for their implementation. The aim is to explain students the importance of human resource development for company functioning, its successful operations and complexity. Studying is based on a systematic approach by which human resource management development is an important issue for analysis. BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE ENGLISH LANGUAGE I– 6 ECTS Development of creative and practical abilities and communication skills in using foreign language which is necessary in the professional career of an international manager. The aim of the program has been adapted to the basic tasks and goals of Faculty of International Management. Ability to communicate and apply gained theoretical knowledge in practice in multicultural environment. BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE ITALIAN LANGUAGE I– 6 ECTS Writing and conversation about professional fields related to international management. Understanding and translating texts in management, using professional vocabulary. Texts in management, contracts, payments, financial investment, banks. Linguistic and grammar exercises. Translation of various documents. BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE GERMAN LANGUAGE I– 6 ECTS EU BUSINESS LAW – 5 ECTS At the European Union Business Law Course students will study free movement of goods, people and capital in the European Union market. The aim of the course is to introduce them to legal regulation connected to the above mentioned essential economic freedoms set by the European Union law that will soon be applied to Serbian businesses as well. The course content includes

theoretical knowledge on legal regulation freedom of movement of goods people and capital is based on as well as case analysis, i.e. the Court of Justice judgments for this area. TRADE MANAGEMENT– 6 ECTS The purpose of Trade Management course is achieved by meeting three basic segments: education, meaning observation, understanding and memorizing teaching unit content as knowledge (in theoretical context) or skill/ability (in practical context) in trade operations; development, meaning the application of gained knowledge or skills/abilities to real situations or their upgrading (with study case analysis); and upbringing, meaning changing student personality and behavior as a result of gained knowledge and skills/abilities in trade operations. The main outcome of the course will be achieved through adoption of information connected to Trade Management. The specific outcome of the course is achieved through understanding and application of theory and practice of: a) planning system; b) organizing system; c) managing performance values; d) control system; and e) evaluation system – both within domestic and foreign context. MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM – 6 ECTS Management Information System deals with computer resource management in a company. Company organizational structure influences the selection of information systems and their management. First, students will be introduced to the types of current information systems and the ways of organizing informatics resource management. Then, management information system development models with a focus on information system life cycle. Modern methods which accelerate system development process are also covered, both theoretically and in practice. In the practical part, the course will cover Microsoft package MS Office – Access for data base tools. This enables students to learn about the tools that are used to promote primarily end user computing methods BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE ENGLISH LANGUAGE II– 5 ECTS Development of creative and practical abilities and mastering of practical communication skills in foreign language necessary for professional career of international manager. The aim of the program has been adapted to the basic tasks and goals of Faculty of International Management. Ability to communicate and apply gained theoretical knowledge in practice in multicultural environment. BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE ITALIAN LANGUAGE II – 4 ECTS Writing and conversation about professional fields related to international management. Understanding and translating texts in management, using professional vocabulary. Texts in management, contracts, payments, financial investment, banks. Linguistic and grammar exercises. Translation of various documents. BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE GERMAN LANGUAGE II– 4 ECTS

COURSE DESCRIPTION

IV YEAR INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT – 8 ECTS The purpose of the Course International Human Resource Management is to introduce students to situations and problems human resource managers face and which are related to expatriates and their treatment in various cultural and economic environments, primarily, European, American and Japanese ones. To train students for understanding expatriate problems and efficiently organize and lead human resource sector in an international company. Approaches to International Human resource management and factors influencing it. IHRM theories, models and frameworks. Problems of IHRM model establishment and function. Development of domestic and international human resource management. The process of human resource management strategic planning in multinational corporations. BUSINESS CORRESPODENCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE-ESSAY WRITING – 8 ECTS Development of creative and practical abilities and mastering practical communication skills in foreign language necessary for performing the role of graduate international manager. This course curriculum is in accordance with the basic tasks and goals of the Faculty of International Management general curriculum. Ability to communicate and apply the acquired knowledge in practice in multicultural environment. The curriculum for academic part of the course of Business Correspondence in English Language – Essay Writing provides studying adequate texts and learning vocabulary used in business correspondence and writing essays in English language. BUSINESS MANAGEMENT – 8 ECTS The purpose of Business Management course is to introduce students to company organizational structure, business plan design, employee efficiency resulting in company operation efficiency and effectiveness. To train students to apply techniques and methods used in the area. The course covers the following topics: Management Theory; Operational management; Leadership; Human Resource Management; Business Management; Entrepreneurship and Creativity; Business Dynamics; International Management. Each thematic area is illustrated by a number of case studies. Students will write a seminar paper the aim of which is to develop their skills – primarily research and analytical ones. Students will visit trade fairs and companies in order to acquire some practical knowledge and experience.

TECHONOLOGY MANAGEMENT – 8 ECTS The purpose of Technology Management course is achieved by meeting three basic segments: education, meaning observation, understanding and memorizing teaching unit content as knowledge (in theoretical context) or skill/ability (in practical context) in trade operations; development, meaning the application of gained knowledge or skills/abilities to real situations or their upgrading (with study case analysis); and upbringing, meaning changing student personality and behavior as a result of gained knowledge and skills/abilities in sales operations. The basic outcome is achieved through the adoption of information related to the context of Technology Management. The specific outcome is achieved through understanding and application of of theoretical and practical concepts related to a number of interactions and feedback in the process of strategic technology management. The outcome in fact refers to the cognitive thinking about management procedure within product technology and process technology. Segments a company operates in can evolve by the time, thus

creating the need for new technological strategies. In the new segments, processes and products can require new technologies not available within the company. MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS – 6 ECTS Introducing students to information systems in a business environment. Special attention is paid to information systems, applications and technologies primarily intended for management. Its aim is to enable students to work in various informatics environments and introduce them to various forms of information systems and applications leading to easier identification of informatics needs in the business world. Basic areas of applying information systems in business sphere and historical development of computer information systems. Accounting information systems, management information systems, systems for supporting decision making, expert systems, automation of office operations. E–business and commerce, applications. Operational system Linux. Relation data basis. SQL interrogative language. System for data base work on MySQL and Linux and Microsoft platform. Data base and Internet technology coupling, php script language. INTERNATIONAL LAW – 6 ECTS The aim of the course is to introduce students to the origins and the concept of international law, its sources and actors. Comparative analysis of constitutional and legal system of European Union and the United States of America. Decision making mechanisms in the US and European Union. Legal nature of European Union through studying its jurisdiction in foreign affaires and criminal law. Introduction – origins and historical development of international public law. Actors in contemporary international law – states and international organizations. The organization of the US as the first modern federal state. Jurisdictions of European Union in foreign policy and criminal law.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT – 8 ECTS The purpose of Logistics Management Course is achieved by meeting the three basic segments: educational, meaning perceptions, understanding and memorizing the content of a teaching unit as knowledge or a skill in international hotel management business operations; development, meaning the application of gained knowledge or skills to real situation or their upgrading (through Case Study logistics); and the third segment that implies a change of student personality and behavior resulting from gained knowledge and skills in international hotel management business operations. INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS – 8 ECTS The purpose of the Course is to introduce students to the mode international organizations function and to understand their influence on global environment. Students will be able to perceive movements in the international scene and to master international organization structure and influence.
